its like he has no sense of direction. he ran into a screen door, also into a wall and a door. he doesnt always do this but once in a while. is this a chiahuahua thing or a dog thing?

he is just a puppy and we tried sticking his nose in it but he trys to eat it we have spanked him but he thinks im playing. WHAT TO DO???

There are times, my two dogs start going at it and they get vicious and start fighting. They never do it to me, but only to each other. I sometimes have to smack one of them and push them as hard as I can to get her to stop biting. They always fight for attention or a toy or a bone. I dont know how else to stop them, but I feel bad afterwards. How else can I get one off the other? I tried just holding them apart once, but I would either get a cut on my arm or they would bite me by mistake. I tried yelling, but its never enough! (This happens VERY rarely, like once every few months)

The assistant at the vet's office when I picked him up (the Vet had gone home already) said to watch it and call if it gets worse. However, I just read that this could be a sign of internal bleeding, which could lead to death and requires immediate vet attention. Should I do what the guy at the vet's office said, or take him somewhere immediately? Also, he's shaking pretty violently, even when sleeping, is this normal after being neutered?

I got my Border Collie 2 years ago and have only heard him bark twice, so I know he can bark. I got him from a rescue and was told he had obiedence training. Can a dog be trained to never bark? Any suggestions on how to get him to bark? I have tried barking at him, sounding like a cat. It just seems sad to me that he never uses his voice.

I have a Japanese Chin. We think she came from a puppy mill ( a breeder who breeds dog just for the money ) She is afraid of EVERYTHING! Plastic bags, feet, phones, you name it! She is also afraid of people. The only people she is not afraid of is me, my mom and my friend. Especially men. She is also afraid of collers; I think she was shocked.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVISE TO MAKE HER NOT SO AFRAID?

I have 2 dogs, 1 maltese and 1 Japanese Chin. The Japanese Chin is too big to sit up top in the plane. The maltese might fit. The japanese chin was abused, so it is scared of EVERYTHING! I'd like to go to Europe and take my small dog (15lbs) with me. What papers/certificates/shots does she need? Do I have to buy her a seat? They (airlines) can't possibly expect her to stay in the luggage compartment for 10+ hours can they?
