go to your nearest pound and ask about the next low cost vaccination clinic. they do it from time to time. i live in rancho cucamoca and they've done it lots in the 14 years i've had my dog. usually they only shot they are really concerned with is the rabies shot. you could also look for info at your local library. hope this helps.

Rabies is the only shot that you need to do by law. The other shots are not needed every year. Dr. Ron Schultz, professor of pathology and immunology, at Wisconsin University published a duration of immunity study in 1999. He found that vaccines are good for many, many years. The current protocol at all 27 vet universities is to only do the other shots every three years. This will be changing in the future as more studies are done. There's some links to Wisconsin University and the American Animal Hospital Association.

many local parks have an event coordinator and they have shots clinics every so often that are low cost although you usually have to pay cash. check with local vets as some have a "shot"
clinic weekly where the shots are low cost and again you usually have to pay cash. it is true you can administer shots buy buying the supplies at a local farm/feed store, but you might want some training on how to administer them first.

The Arboretum also has a few ponds. Not so much a pond, but kind of - at the end of the trail in Monrovia Canyon Park. You can hike 3/4 mile or 1 3/4 and it ends at a waterfall with kind of a pond.

Do you have a Tractor Supply or a CO-OP. I know you can buy them there and do it yourself. They call it a 7 in 1 shot.
