We just adopted one from a man next door who is never home for him. He is an excellent dog, doesnt even require a leash when we are outside with him.
And he has never been around kids, but is so far good to my daughter.
I have heard some stories though, and wondered what kind of experiences you all have had with them?
Thank U

And it's clearly sunken into her head compared to the other one. It doesn't seem to bother her, but I've no idea what is causing it or if its a sign of something more serious. I'm taking her to the vet next week, but I'd like any info you guys have.

Anyone have any tips for disposing of doggie doo in the yard? I have a good sized dog, smaller yard and kids: so yep, I want to keep it clean back there. I've been putting it in a garbage bag lined bucket and disposing it once a week with my garbage, I feel sorry for the sanitation guys though. ; ( People have said to burry it, but thats considered a bio-hazard. Anyway, if anyone else has a great idea, or could tell me how you dispose of 'yard waste' I'd love to hear it. No wise guys now!! Serious problem here!!

Ok sorry but I have to ask this, does anyone know WHY WHY WHY my Pug seems obsessed with sticking his nose up every dogs but he runs across. Ok i mean I know sniffing each other is a pretty norm thing but when I say STICKIN his nose UP the butt i truly mean this. I mean i LITERALLY have to remove him or he will stand there all day lookin like a growth. Its just gross and other than this he's pretty well trained. Can anyone help?

Whenever I come over to my friend's house little Scrubs, his name, just goes crazy barking at me. I have never been mean to him, but he just goes balistic. Never does this with too many other people. Only me and 2 other people. He calms down after about 10 minutes, but if I look at him, it's on again. What can I do? His breed is some kind of toy poodle mix I think.

What can I do to get my hybrid malamute, husky, wolf dog to behave. She is nine years old, and I recently had to put down my other dog, so she is alone. I can not get another dog for her to be with. She has torn down my kitchen blinds, destroyed the door knob, jumped out the front window, jumped off the balcony while tied up, and many other things. Do these kinds of breeds go crazy after a certain age? I don't want to put her down, but I am running out of options?

I have to Pomeranians. Gizmo is one year and Isabel is 8 months. From the beginning, my husband did not want them to be in a cannel because he thinks that is animal cruelty. So know we have a huge problem. they go where ever they want. I know! that is so very nasty...I should have intervene a long time ago. I put down pee pee pads and they use them, but then they tear them up when we are not around. Is it to late to potty train them?

He is an 8-week old Border/Collie/Lab/Pit Bull mix. He is very playful, loves to bit things (especially my carpet and bathroom cabinet) and he is nearly house-trained, with the exception of a couple of accidents. I just can't seem to get him to walk next to me with the leash on without him running between my legs and biting on the leash.
