Whenever I come over to my friend's house little Scrubs, his name, just goes crazy barking at me. I have never been mean to him, but he just goes balistic. Never does this with too many other people. Only me and 2 other people. He calms down after about 10 minutes, but if I look at him, it's on again. What can I do? His breed is some kind of toy poodle mix I think.

Start bringing a doggy treat with you and say what ever word your friend uses to make him hush then give him a treat from your pocket.....after a cpl of times wait till he stops barking then give him a treat... after a cpl more say the word then play with your pocket till he stops barking then treat him on and on till you train him to stop barking at you. Some dogs bark all the time at anyone though...My Mom has a Sheltie and that dog acts like it has never seen me before every time I go there ( it's been in the Family for 8 yrs.) Mom says it's because the dog knows how excited they get when I come around so it is just announcing that I am there...lol

Bring some treats in your pocket before you come over. When he stops barking eventually, give him a couple treats. You will have to repeat this a few times but eventually he will realize, hey if I don't bark at this girl, she gives me treats.
Don't give the treats while he is still barking or that will reinforce the behaviour.

Simple just kick and the little dog will stop it may seem bad but it will learn not to bark at you.... that's just my ideal on the matter.

Look at Scrubs and flex. If he keeps barking, put him in a head lock.

small dogs are just like that they feel they are protecting their owners.. just don;t starte at him & ignore him ususally they will settle down & come to you & once he gets to know you real well he will stop barking at you.....
