@Gnomes31: Having ferrets in California is 'illegal' yet I walk into Petco etc. and see a whole section of supplies for them. Also laws concerning hybrids do vary from state to state, they are allowed in some places without a special permit because hybrids are not considered true wolves (much like Savannah cats):http://www.wolfdogalliance.org/legislation/statelaws.html
To answer the original question it is very likely you are dealing with intestinal parasites. Coccidia and Giardia are very commonplace, they can be treated with Sulfadimethoxine and Fenbendazole respectively (Albon, Panacur). To rule out worms you should also give Pyrantel Palmoate for roundworms and Praziquantel for tapeworms. Wash down dog bowls etc. with ammonia and after the ammonia evaporates do a second pass with bleach. Finally there are types of flora that are opportunistic so you might also look into antibiotics like Amoxillin. During treatment give her plenty of electrolytes to keep her hydrated. Give her kibble only made with chicken, rice and oatmeal (no corn, wheat, soy or sorghum) that is easier to digest: http://www.nutroproducts.com/ncdogcro.asp . Once she is over the problem I would put her on this:

As this is far more appropriate for the dietary needs of wild/domestic hybrids.

PS: Close the bathroom door if you don't want your wolfdog drinking out of the toilet ;)...

Diarreah is caused by an upset digestive system, just like Humans. Whenever my dog's tummy gets upset, #2 or throw up, I stop the dog food and give her cooked white rice for a meal twice a day. This eases her system. Do this on day one. If she is sick on day 2, continue the rice. When she gets better, give her a meal of half rice and half dog food. If she has diarreah often, there is a great possibility that she is reacting to her dog food in general. Different pets have different systems, just like humans. Try using Iams Adult Formula, or Science Diet that is formulated to be gentle on digestive systems. If the diahrrea lasts more than 5 days after this treatment, go visit your vet. Good luck!

PS - Irish Wolfhounds and related breeds are not illegal. The people above are ignorant to breeds.

The dog kibble isn't always the right food for a wolfdog. You will find special formulations at your pet supply just for wolves. it is usually dried meats, and is much friendlier too her system,, as dog kibble has too many fillers for the wolf digestive system to handle.

Meanwhile, Bring a cup of regular whole milk to a barely boil. When it has cooled just a bit, skim off the film on top.
Give her this frequently (like 3-4 times in a day). You can allow her to just drink it, if she will, or pour the third serving over her food.
Keep up the boiled/skimmed milk until she has normal stools.

She may need to be checked for worms, as the first symptom is often runny stools.

Feed her some bland cooked rice with some kibble.

Also, evaluate the type of food you are feeding her or if you've changed foods lately. If your budget can accomodate a change to a premium dog food that would be good (e.g. INNOVA, Merrick, Solid Gold, etc.).

You mean a hybrid. And you should check to see if a permit to own such a dog is required where you live.
If your experience or knowledge is limited about caring for dogs read and study everything you can. Also do a search online for holistic dog foods.

It's illegal to have a wolf dog. You should probably quit telling people this. Really don't think the toilet has anything to do with it. Take her to a vet and take some of the poop with you.

You take it to the vet. She may have parasites or something more serious. Use some common sence.
