Ok so i want to get my dogs ( 2 rottweilers ) into some sort of training. I want to train my dogs to be, a Personal Protection dog or a Attack Dog.

Attack Dog
The level 3 dog has all the training of the level 2 dog, but has the option of being able to be deployed off leash to pursue and capture a fleeing person or a threat from a distance. The "offense dog" is trained to use its body to
knock down and hold onto a challenger even while wearing a muzzle. This dog will also release its bite on command from a distance

Person Protection - dog is trained to show an aggressive display on command. This dog will lunge, show teeth, and bark aggressively at the end of the leash towards any aggressor
who tries to approach once his "protect" command is
given.

i want to train my dogs to be a attack dogs, but i need some pro and cons, cause my next dog neighbor has a attack used for k-9 training and i want to do the same. give me some opions if i should or not.

Well... why are they so rare? They're arguable the perfect house dog for urban, suburban, and farm living. I'm just curious as to why they haven't caught on more than they have.

I am interested in adopting this amazing black lab mix, she has 6 puppies but they are soon to be weaned and i can adopt her alone. I'm worried that the hair loss may have some other cause. is this normal? Also does anyone know how to help a dog work off some extra weight from pregnancy?

My 14 year old terrier dog has gradually been been developing mucus allover his body which feels like crust when petted. It is very raw, itchy, and sensitive to touch. He also, although seemingly healthy, has blasts of energy and then can not move for a very long time. I took him to several vets and they found nothing wrong with him, however, I know there is. Will any of you kind people tell me what could be wrong with my dog so I can find proper treatments? Could it be a parasite such as ringworm? Please, please, help my dog! Or does it sound like its time out, anyway, and I should put him to sleep?

Ihave two georgeos dalmations (male&female) but sadly my female is totally deaf. Does anyone really know the chances of any pups they have being deaf. I don't want to be irrisponsible and end up with lots of deaf puppies. I have seen my vet about this, he says I shouldn't breed but cannot tell me the amount of risk.

I have noticed today that my 7 month Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has a limp on her back leg. She doesn't complain (or cry), but she isn't as active as usual and will just sit or just lay down. I know this breed of dog is prone to joint problems but she is only 7 months. Should i be concerned?
