6 weeks, another at 9 weeks then another at 12 then another at 15, then they stop <--- those shots should be parvo, you should also get heartworm medication but it just depends were you live.

The mother's milk provide immunity to dieases to the pups. The shots need to be timed to when the immunity from mom wears off. If the pup is immune, they the shots do nothing. Over vaccination can cause problems so less is better. I personally would wait until around 10 weeks, keeping the pup away from other people or animals. Current protocol is to start at 8 weeks. Read the American Animal Hospital Association's 2006 recommendations for vaccines and the footnotes after them.

Your puppy should have been vaccinated before you got it... I sure hope you didnt pay for this pup because you should never pay for a pup that hasnt been vaccinated and vet checked first....

get it done right away and DO NOT take puppy off your property for walks untill he is boostered and vet gives you the ok - parvo is very deadly and puppies can get it easy, they will need more than one shot before fully protected against disease

They have to be six weeks old. Also you will want to worm them at six weeks old too. Its best to have a vet check them for worms and then give you medecine for worms (depending on how much your dog weighs and what type of worms). But all puppies need to be de-wormed as well as have their first shot at six weeks old.
