Huskys NEED training. They are very trainable, and are too big not to be trained. There are many benefits to training. Your dog will be happier for it. FInd yourself a good dog training class with a certified reputable trainer. Go in any pet store and ask around. Do not take chances with outher people's dogs! Even a small dog can damage you dog in the snout and eyes! You could also wind up paying steep vet bills. Your dog will also be exposed to acceptable social dog behaviour and could make some friends in class. Training is definately the way to go. Muzzles are another option.

Tips on dog body language:
barking at another dog while on a leash isn't always a sign of aggression, some dog get frustrated b/c they want to play--especially huskies, they usually love other dogs.
playful or curiosity actions-- wagging tail, bowing(laying down in front, but sitting in air), rolling over on back.
aggressive or territorial actions-- hair standing up along back, especially near base of tail, tail rigid and up, baring teeth, growling while barking, standing tall and stiff, lunging at end of leash while doing these actions.
It is usually easy to know what your dog wants if you know what his body is telling you, but is definitely a good idea to go to an experienced trainer to work on socializing your dog.

it's obvious that the dog hasn't been properly socialized with other animals. he doesn't know how to play with other dogs, because he didn't learn the proper body language when he was younger. without knowing more details, i would suggest starting off with a few private lessons from a trainer in your area and then actually taking him to a dog training class so that he can learn to be around other dogs without acting crazy. this sort of thing can be fixed with training, but it takes a lot of time and dedication if you honestly want to do it.

You have to control it otherwise it would think it could do whatever it wants. When it barks say "Down boy/girl! Down!" without hurting it, but you can hit it GENTLY. Also try pulling on it's collar ans saying stop. You have to train your dog then it will listen.

If he barks, keep a leash on him till he gets used to the other dog. You know how rough they can be.

you can show the other dog some attention by petting it and talking to it, let your dog see you are comfortable with this other dog, and he will eventually get the idea. my dog was like that but now she is fine , as long as i give her attention at the same time
