I have a black lab that has floppy ears. He continues to get yeast infections in them. We have been to the vet several times to no avail. It is so bad it smells like stinky feet. He doesn't get into any water so I can't see what would be causing it. He scratches his ears so much they bleed. I feel so bad for him cause we can't seem to kick this problem. Anyone know how to fix it?

I have never owned a dog in my life before, nor have I gone to a dog shelter either. I am going this weekend. What will they ask me? Will I get to spend some time with the dog before choosing it? What should I expect? Will there be an interview or paperwork done?

she is 6 weeks old. my dog and my dad's dog had puppys and im going to keep of the puppys. the dad of the puppy is full yellow lab. the mom of the puppy is a pure white huskey. the puppy has a labs body but she has huskey fur and the color of her mom.

my dog is obsessed with table scraps, and absolutely refuses to eat his own food. my dad keeps giving him food, and i keep telling him not to, but he keeps doing so!! i wud really prefer that my dog eat his own food, but just wont do it! what should i do!!

She is about 12 1/2 and just some days, more commonly now that its hotter out, she just gives me this look of "Oh come on, I can't keep living like this." Like she wishes to "give in." I get teared up just thinking about it. My family adopted her, a one & a half year old German shephard pup, in the summer of '95. I was about 6 & a half yrs., 1st grade. I am now 17 3/4 and am a Sr. in high school. She was diagnosed with pannus, a chronic inflammation of the corneal surface & in most cases, the conjunctiva of the eye, when she was about 7 yrs I guess. Sam is my first pet, my first dog, MY FIRST BEST FRIEND. I've had other pets that have died during Sam, but when I lose Sam, I'll lose a big piece of my heart. I will be a total wreck w/out her. I've heard its best to get another dog right away and keep busy, but I feel that'll deprive me of time used for grieving period. I owe it to her, but its going to be so painful. I know shes not going to make it through this hot summer.

What can I do so the smell goes away, its making me sick to my stomach, its raining outside so I cant leave him out for to long and he barks because he wants in and he know he smells he is hiding his nose on the grass and rubbing his nose with his paws

I am from the northwest where not too many animals are capable of killing anything. My puppy like to nose around and act a fool, putting every thing in his mouth. I was wondering if it is common in the Southwest, where there are lots of venomous critters, for puppies to die because of them.

Please don't answer this unless you are from the Southwest or a similar region. NO wiseguys please!
