Well if that ear was injured somehow than thats probally it. Or it could be that both of his ears will eventually be down just not at the same time. Ifs thats the case then the other ear will go down soon depending on his breed. If its a german shepherd mix then its nothing to worry about some blood lines of German Shepherds do this only one ear will stand up. Its in their genes. But the vet may have a solution for this. If so you want to get it corrected asap before its to late.

Egads... i think your soreness! the two considered one of my wee ones - who would be a million 12 months previous on the twenty third have been dealing with this on and rancid in view that 7-8 months of age. concerning the time i think of I unquestionably have it conquered, something sends one or the different of them freaky back. on the Nat'ls interior the 9-12 mos b*tch type totally a million/3 of the b*tches recent shied from the choose. This concern is interior the breed in a great way. I had numerous long conversations with different breeders on the Nat'ls as that's the 1st time i've got had an argument with it... there became no consensus on the thank you to handle it. 0.5 concept it became appropriate to pass away them residing house to enhance out of it so as that they did no longer grow to be greater freaky over greater issues. the different 0.5 felt the canines could desire to be inundated with stimuli so as that they might basically recover from it. i've got been engaged on the 2d attitude - so a techniques - no exhilaration on an ongoing foundation. looks like now the terror is of the choose interior the hoop - yet everywhere else they are nice. different breeders have talked approximately to me that there are hardly Berner puppies being shown - and it is for a reason. i'm close to the component of sending them off in my view to camp for each week or 2 - no longer because of the fact i think of it would treatment them, yet because of the fact I did that with their mom on a incredibly ongoing foundation and that i'm questioning if that became component of what made her so darned good. I want I had a good answer for you. you could desire to to evaluate starting to be to be a member of the BernerL and asking there.

If his breeding is with a dog(s) with erect ears, he just needs to get the muscular strength to hold them up. it will happen. My dog is a german shepherd/husky who was listed at the shelter for having "semi-erect ears" becasue they stuck up, but flopped down at the tips (almost half-way). As he grew, they both became fully erect, though one still tends to flop foreward at the tip every now and again.

My friend has a dog who always has one ear down. I think its just genetic make up. As your little one's ear grew, it decided to go down!
