I lost 3 puppies and im afraid I am gonna loose the last pup i have... Im confused whether on what age will I administer the vaccine... and how do I dispose my dead pup properly so as to avoid the contamination of my other dogs?please enlighten me with your answers...tnx...

My dog has three pups im keeping 2 and the other is going to a very good friend, how do i deal with my dogs if she gets upset when one of the pups go next week? i also have another dog which is the father but i have only let him sniff them through the fire guard that i have put in the kitchen to block the room off, when i introduce them properly how do i tell if he will attack them rather than just play?

Almost lost my very spoiled, husky/sheppard mix last year when we found out he was alergic to bees. The alergy is to the point were we carry and eppy pen and emergency meds. Feeling scared with summer here, has anyone had a pet suffer from something like this? How do you handle the summer with your pet?

I am bringing home my lab today. The vet is using a "cone" that will be around my dog's head to prevent her from licking her stiches. Someone told me that some vets send home a substance that you put around the wound that has a bad taste to prevent this from happening. Anyone use this? It would be nice to know what I am asking for when I go to the vet today. Thanks!

My golden retriever has some plaque and I want to clean his teeth for him. He will not tolerate me putting my fingers/toothbrush in there. Any suggestions on how to do it, or are there any dog bones that really truly clean dogs teeth?

We have a new pup that was a stray. He is small and looks like a jack russell except for his legs are slightly longer than a long legged jack and he is all brown with white on his face. He has dew claws on his rear legs and my jack russells don't. Maybe if rear dew claws are breed specific we can get a hint to what breed/breeds he is.

I was watching Animal Planet this afternoon about ASPCA Animal Rescue. The officers took a dog to the animal hospital after suffering from a broken leg. They took care of the dog and all and the dog is okay now after 1.5 month of rehabilatation or something.

Now, my question is.....the dog was wearing some kind of a really big funnel on its neck. I was wondering what's that for?

he has some sores from laying on the grass and cement patch by our house. can i put some vasoline and baby powder on them to try and soften them? they are kind of like calises, they are pinkish and where they are the skin is thin. he is shedding- could that be it?
anything i can do? the vet said that there really is nothing you can do...it looks kinda discusting.
any home remedies?

I have an appointment scheduled with the vet, but due to my poor dog's toothache he will not eat at all. Everytime he tries, he yelps. I have made scrambled eggs for him and have mashed everything up but he is scared to even try the food now in fear of the pain. I'm desperate for him to eat! I've considered buying baby food for him to eat until we can see the vet.
Would that be bad?

It's breaking my heart! :(

I live in the basement apartment in the country, and somebody's dog keeps pooping right outside my bedroom window.
