Depends on the breed. Large breeds live shorter lives...about 8-14 years and smaller breeds about 12-16 years. This is just an average. Some large breeds could live longer than 14 and I have seen a yorkie live to be 20!!

it can depend on the breed, smaller breeds have a tendency to live longer, such as beagles, they have been reported to live 20 years or above. Larger breed such as Great Danes have a life spane of 8-10years at best. Most often the average dog lives anywere from 12-15years if kept in good health with regular vet trips. Hope this helped

Depends on the breed. As a general rule, the really large dogs have a shorter life span than smaller ones. I had a NEwfoundland who died at 10, about average for his breed, a Golden Retriever who was 15 when he died, and a terrier now who is 8. So it just depends.

Depends on the breed of dog. On average I would say 13 years.

Small dogs last a few years longer than big dogs.

Pure bred doggies usually have health issues when they get older; mixed breds seem to be the healthiest.
