how old is this pup? Take it to the vet today! If the vet gives it a clean bill of health then start bottlefeeding it with a vet recomended puppy formula. If it is not healthy, have the vet put it to sleep. That is better for the pup than to have to starve to death.....also, keep those puppies warm! I lost all but one puppy (7 in the litter) from mom not keeping them warm!

Get the pup to you vet immediately. Puppies can begin failing after just 12 hours of not nursing. The vet can checking the pup for sucking reflex and other issues.
Don't wait.....

Go to the pet store or vet and get a bottle and the special milk they sell. I had a puppy who was 5 days old, her mom couldnt feed her. I bottle fed her for a few months and then she started eating soft dog food. After you feed them you have to take a warm wet cloth and run it over their belly and backend to get them to go to the bathroom. The mother usually licks them to stimulate the urination and what not.

Hi. You will have to feed it with an eye dropper or syringe every two hours, until it is able to drink or eat by itself. Depending on the puppy of age, normally three days of two hour feeding. The mother dog might even accept it back as well.
Thanks.

I have used puppy milk replacer, A local farm store, or Pet supply store should have it. If not call the vet and ask them where to get it (you may have to get it from them) When you have the milk replacer, I have used a tylenol dropper from infant tylenol to administer the milk. Or a syringe without the needle. (Must be very careful not to give them to much at a time or they will choke)
The best advise is to call you Vet. They will give you the best advise on what to do.

Like any newborn, it needs a bottle. Depending on the breed, check with your vet on the preferred formula.
