Also looking for something for my yard - live in Indiana. My 2 dogs are getting daily baths right now - once I let them outside, they bring them back into the house....HELP

My dog use to spend time playing with me but two days ago he started acting very very strange and instead of playing with me he would run out and go meet my friend's dog which is a girl? Do you have to spay and neuter him to make him stop acting so strange?

My dog likes to eat any and all dog poop, except his own. This is disgusting, and needs to stop. Getting rid of the dog is not an option, because my family loves him.

I have a 2 yr old pomeranian and she piddles on the carpet when we are sleeping. She tends to gorge herself with water at night as if she'll never drink again. By the time we wake up in the morning there is a new DRY stain on my carpet. I've started to put her water up in the evening to limit her water drinking at night. Now we will be bringing home a 4 month old puppy soon and i don't want him to smell her urine and think that he should pee there too. I've shampooed my carpet and used Bissel pet odor and stain remover but it doesn't quite seem to get it completely out.

My mom has a dog and it helped my niece learn to walk. He was very sweet around her and would sleep next to her, he would come get us if she cried while we weren't around. He was very good with her. The strange thing is that instead of talking now at 3 years old, she sometimes barks... its cute. Is it ok? Should we not get a dog? What type of dog is good around newborns?

I need to find a new home for my hound. He is a Mountain Cur and a Redbone mix. He just needs more room to run and play. He will be a year old on July 4th. I need a rescue place for him because I don't want him taken to the pound. I can't see him being put down, because of my mistake.

she was abused badly by a male before i got her. she seems to get along well with my boyfriend and my teenage boys. however whenever she is put outside she will destroy the house to get back in......in less than 6 months time she has destoyed 7 blinds, 4 sets of drapes, chewed through 2 doors and many many other things ll to get immediately back inside. this happens wether we are home or gone for the day. she is a yellow lab....maybe a mix. we love sadie but something must change or unfortunately her address will have to...... my landlord saw some of the damages and is furious.

She spent thurs night to sat afternoon in the emergency hospital on IV. She has shown little improvement since I took her home. We have been back to the vet and they said she is not dehydrated enough for IV and we should wait a week and watch her before we test her electrolytes.
When is she going to improve?

Ok my parents are driving my crazy because they say they cant go out anymore because of my dog. We don't travel anymore or stay at hotels like we used to every year because:

a) There isn't anyone who wants to take care of her except grandma but she is old and I can't leave her that responsibility anymore.

b) My dog is a little aggressive with strangers, and people are afraid of her.

c) I can't leave her with a Veterinarian, or "pet hotel" for a few weeks because my parents thinks it's too expensive.

My parents want me to get rid of her, but I don't want to leave her in a animal refugee, she can get killed there, and I really don't trust anyone who can take good care of her. People don't care much for their pets here. Also my parents say that when they travel I am going to stay home with my dog which I DON'T want to do because I like to travel too.I don't want to get rid of my dog. I LOVE her TOO much and she loves me too. I will be very sad if I leave her.What can I do?
