She spent thurs night to sat afternoon in the emergency hospital on IV. She has shown little improvement since I took her home. We have been back to the vet and they said she is not dehydrated enough for IV and we should wait a week and watch her before we test her electrolytes.
When is she going to improve?

thank you for your help, it turns out she was supposed to be better and we are checking her doses. It is possible it may be somthing accompanying her illness, but hopefully most likely the wrong dosage.

That is a question best directed at your vet. I had a dog with Addison's Disease. While I'm not sure it's the same thing, I bet they at least have similarities. I almost lost my dog. She had to stay at the vet for three days. He actually kept her there until he was *sure* she was improving, but he was an exceptional vet. Then, she had to take Prednisone and something else (years ago, I forget now) every day for the rest of her life.
