someone already posted this answer but i agree- buddy is a great name for a golden retriever! That's what my dog's name is and I got the idea off of Air Bud. Buddy is the perfect name for a golden, because it describes what kind of a dog golden retrievers are- they are buddies, totally loyal and so friendly! Even though it is a common name, Buddy will always be the best!
Other name ideas if you don't like that are: Bella, Baxter, Lucky, Junior, Jasper, and Max.

i agree! I had a Goldie...she was the smartest dog ever. She would know when hubby was coming down the road before I could even see the car. do you have other pets? we are keeping with a military theme now....cats are Major and Coronal and dog is Chopper.
