I mean, it's Friday night! Don't you people have lives? And cats. It is Friday night, and you are on an online network for losers with questions about cats. Don't you feel hated by everyone?

Sideways(I know it's corny,ok.I never claimed to be gifted at naming them..LOL)No, she didn't leave cuz I call her Sideways so don't EVEN go there! :)
I run an animal rescue and we have a resident feral cat clan on adjacent property but Sideways has always been our pet.Yes, I let her outside but WAIT... I've got a twelve foot fence around my property. My cats don't get out.
There have been no major changes in our home, routine..nothing that I can come up with.I even took her to the vet thinking she's sick. She isn't.
Everyday she used to go outside for about four hours and lay on our pool deck in the sun. Then she came inside. As of ten days ago she went out, layed on the deck for four hours, scouted around the yard and then went and crawled under the shed to sleep. She won't come back in the house. When I bring her in she hisses and spits at the other four cats and me but not at the dog who lives inside. She won't even come in to eat anymore.I don't get it.She disowned me?! Why?

My cat has been sleeping in her litter tray and I dont know why.

I got her last week from Battersea Dogs & Cats home.

Is this normal? Is this dangerous to her health? How is it stopped?

I have two kittens, Charlie and Lucy :) I'm not much of a cat expert, or even a cat amateur. I think Lucy's a calico and Charlie's an orange tabby, but does it get more specific than that?

My cat is about 3 years old and a siamise. He is over weight but other than that he seems very healthy. He is still eating and being himself. But what looks like water continues to just drip from his closed mouth. I'm kind of freaking out. I hope someone knows what this could be.

My old cat hates me. We got a puppy last winter and took this kitten home in october, now she hates our guts. She hates the two new girls, and makes this weird low moaning nooise when they go near her, and she was doing that to me. She was at the door, mewing to go outside, so I ran over and I tried to scratch her favourite spot under her chin and she started to make that moan and she pinned her ears. How can I make her forgive me?
btw, she won't eat the treats I give her.

i read this over and over, "u shouldn't have a pet if u can't afford to take it to the vet."So y should low income ppl be allowed to have kids? i mean, it's ridiculous if some1 chooses to buy an mp3 player or cell phone instead of bringing their pet to the vet, but if some1 seriously can't afford it, @ least they're giving them a warm place to sleep, food, and affection which is a hell of alot more than if they would ge on the streets. every1 always says "bring it to a shelter," but honestly how many pets are adopted and how many r killed every year in a shelter?

Anyone feed their cats Nutro?
I just purchased a bag for my cats and I go online to see what other pet owners have to say. When I googled it, some article came up saying that the FDA banned the shipment of Nutro products to the US. What??????? If so why would I be able to purchase this?
Here's that article.

Is there any other pet foods out there that is being banned/recalled?

Even though I own six cats (all strays I've gathered over the years) I know very little about them. I'm a dog person. They rarely if ever get sick. All are up to date on their shots, spay/neutered and indoor cats. Now my question. I lost a cat about five years ago to a liver tumor. His symptoms were, losing hair, not eating as much and drinking a lot of water. Now I have another cat showing the same signs but, five years later. He has an appointment at the vets tomorrow. I thought at first he was just blowing coat for the winter but, now he is showing bald spots only in the back of his body. He is drinking a lot of water and losing weight. I have been away for about a week and my husband and kids have been caring for the animals. When I saw him I got really upset. Are liver tumors common in cats?

i was going to adopt a kitten from an organization and it took 2 weeks just to get approved to adopt a kitten from them since they have lengthy paperwork system and now today I find out the kitten that I have been waiting for and getting ready to come home is going to be put down along with its siblings and mother because they found out it has feline infectionitis I was so in shock and I'm crying so hard. I know its wrong of me for them to want them to live since the lady said that they would be in a lot of pain if and when it manifested but I cant help not wanting them to die. She said if the mother has it the babies most likely have it to and that they land up dying horrible deaths and thats why they have to put them down. does anyone know what this disease is. I tried looking it up. any links that you can find about it.. i would appreciate. thank you

I just got a new kitten and she chews on her tail. She will sit and chew and lick it for hours. I'm worried she will chew the hair off the end of her tail. Is this normal or is something wrong?

I don't know much about keeping cats so I want cat owners to advise me on this.

I live myself and want something to come home to at night.
I wouldn't let the cat outdoors (not a good area and roads nearby)
The cat would be left alone all day (I work and at college)

I wear very loose pajamas because I sweat at night. I've had this kitten for about a month, and it normally sleeps in the same bed as me and my girlfriend. Last night the cat crawled in my PJs and bit my penis. It didn't cause any major damage, but it hurt like hell and I slapped my gf because I thought she had stabbed my d*ck with her long finger nails.

I do a lot of play fighting, where I let him bite my hands and fingers so maybe he thought it was a huge , weird finger.

If I wear briefs to bed, it would protect me, but then I always have to get up and shower at 3 AM because it gets so sweaty and itchy down there.
