My old cat hates me. We got a puppy last winter and took this kitten home in october, now she hates our guts. She hates the two new girls, and makes this weird low moaning nooise when they go near her, and she was doing that to me. She was at the door, mewing to go outside, so I ran over and I tried to scratch her favourite spot under her chin and she started to make that moan and she pinned her ears. How can I make her forgive me?
btw, she won't eat the treats I give her.

I try to give her attention but she doesn't want to go near me! She has always been sorta against cuddleing and stuff, even as a baby, but now she doesn't even like her itchy spot scratched:(

That is the saddest story I ever heard! I guess I would try to give her a lot of 1 on 1 attention. Oh the poor thing!

I had a cat who was an only cat for a while, then we got a second cat. She liked him because he was completely submissive. Then we got a kitten, which she hated. A few months after we got the kitten, we went on vacation. While we were away, and while my sister-in-law was cat sitting, she (the original cat) escaped onto our porch, broke through the screen and jumped three stories down to her freedom, leaving her collar (and any record of where she belonged) behind. When we arrived home and I couldn't find her, I saw the screen busted out and ran into our courtyard to find her. I found her, but she wasn't having any of it. She ran from us like she had never seen us before. Weeks of walking through our neighborhood and posting signs resulted in one phonecall from some people up the street who said she was living in their backyard, but that when they tried to catch her, she attacked them. I had to console myself with the fact that she was already fixed and apparently mean enough to survive on the streets. That could be my delusion, but I've since been a bit maniacal about letting my cats anywhere near a screen or leaving them with my sister in law.
My point is this: you can't make her forgive you. I'm convinced that you can't make a cat do anything. If you have the room in your house, give her a room that is just hers for a while and spend time in there with her (without the other two). And don't let her anywhere near an open door or window.

Cats Are Very Territorial. That mans a cat feels a stranger has invaded his/her territory. In a case like that, a cat could be aggressive in the direction of one cat -- many times the main elementary-going -- yet friendly to a various. The time while issues crop up is while a sparkling kitty arrives, a youthful kitten turns right into a man or woman cat, or the homestead cat seems out the window to be certain an unusual cat interior the backyard -- the homestead cat would chase, ambush, hiss, and/or meow angrily. And it’s no longer only the lads. female cats could be only as infuriated by using strangers.

Talk to her more, in a whisper. Cats know that a whisper is unusual and when it's directed at them they feel that double the attention is being given them. It can help take the place of 'cuddling' if she's not a high contact cat.
Sharing bits off your sandwich can help her feel she's a part of the family. You can also do the hand cupping--where instead of a pet down her head or back you use both palms to reach down and lightly hold their shoulders, front rib cage or sides for about 4 seconds while you say something to her quietly, then let go.

cats are not capable of hate, she just needs her own space, so give it to her! she is old and is used to things being only one way in her world and all of a sudden, everything is different! make a special spot for her and then do not give her any attention, except to feed her, clean her litter and make sure she is healthy. when she is ready she will come to you, then you can show her love, and she will be much nicer. it may take a while but she will come around. cats are very sensitive to any environmental changes, so make it as easy for her by just leaving special things for her. give her a break from the confusion of the two new additions, put them separate and let her get used to them one by one. give her a separate litter box , food and water dishes where the others cannot get to it. she will come around and be herself. don''t chase her around trying to pet her, or force her to be in the company of the other pets, she will not understand what you are doing or why, even if you have had success before. in her mind everything is coming at her in a threatening way (even though there is no threat) and upsetting the balance she had before, she needs to find her balance, so to speak. oh, and also--you need to rule out any illness or health problems , a trip to the vet might be in order---take note of eating, sleeping and litter box habits and if there are any changes. good luck

Are you paying more attention to the puppy and the kitten. Some cats are funny like that though. My friend had one of my kittens - he only kept it a week because his original cat refused to come in the house. Where as my cats are friendly. My other mate comes round with his dog every other day - my one cat loves him to bits where as my male cat secretly bullies him when he thinks im not looking lol.
Just give her a load of fuss and tell her stop being mardy.

Maybe you could try bribing her with treats or tuna or something? When I got a dog (and a boyfriend for that matter), my cat was fairly upset with me but eventually we moved past it by spending lots of time together with her, maintaining my rituals with her, and giving her an enormous amount of treats when she was grumpy about new situations. She gained a pound but she's back to being my best friend and she now loves my partner and tolerates the dog well. (The poor dog gets his feels hurt often though because he LOVES my cat and my cat does not share those feelings.) Treats can really help move the cat past somethings though.

She is probably jealous. And maybe she was moaning to "no, just let me out!"
She doesn't hate you. Cats... they just have independant moments.
