you should scoop out the poop everyday but you don't need to change the litter and santize it everyday - that you might want to do every 3 or 4 days or at least once a week - it might also depend on the type of worms the cat has but you'd have to ask your vet that (there are roundworms, flatworms, tapeworms, hookworms)

What I do is get a scoop (from the dollar store) or a spoon with slots in it, and get the clumpable litter, and scoop it out every or every other day. I use an old tupperware container to scoop it into and seal it, then at the end of the week I dump it all out, clean the box with any multipurpose disinfectant, like mr. clean, but you can use any kind, rinse then dry it, and i also sprinkle baking soda in the botton to help with the smell. Cats are very cleans ome are cvleaner then others. You will know when they don't use the litter anymore and decide the floor is better suited, thats when you know to change their litter. My cat will go for 4 days when i go to my cottage but i wouldn't leave it any longer than that.

Depends what litter you use, you can get that Best Cat Litter In the World stuff where you only have to scoop daily.

Really though, you should get poo out of the tray every day - because otherwise it's just gross isn't it? Plus your cat is a lot less likely to want to use a tray that's already soiled. They're clean animals and if you don't provide them somewhere proper to go you're risking them choosing their own place to pee and poo i.e somewhere in your house!

If you keep your cat properly wormed then poo in the litter tray needn't be a hygiene problem in that way but I mean really, it's basic hygiene to change it daily.

Clumping/ scoopable cat litter is the easiest to keep clean. You just have to remove the clumps (every day or two is fine). The rest of the litter will stay fairly clean for a week or two and then you can dump it all out, wash the litter box and replace with new litter.

You should clean it everyday. Maybe, if you do not have time, you could clean it every 2 days. Cats love to be clean. The reason that you need to clean kittens litter boxes everyday, is because kittens need to be potty trained and the litter box needs to be appealing. Good Luck!

You most certainly do want to clean it everyday. Your cat will be happier, your house will smell better, and leaving feces in the box for more than 24 hours puts you at risk for toxoplasmosis to develop. Cats will usually hold their urine and avoid the box if it is not clean. This puts the cat at risk for developing UTI's. Scooping once or twice a day is the thing to do.

You should have 1 litter box to every 1-2 cats ans you only have to scoop every couple of days and only have to change every week. ( by the way I have six cats of my own). And you should disinfect every 2-3 weeks and whatever you use MAKE SURE YOU RINSE IT OUT REALLY WELL!

Depends on what litter you use.
IF it is the clumping kind...... YES clean out the lumps and stuff daily.
IF you use the normal kitty litter..... every few days and yes wash out the box and let it dry before you put more in..... OR else it is of no use.

Good Luck

Scoop everyday. Change the litter once a week. Disinfect when you change litter.

I skip a day all the time, but my cat has a high tolerance for poo. Some cats will get totally pissed off and poo outside the box if you let it go.
