My cat has a problem with plaque what dry cat foods have worked out best for you or what have you done to win the battle of plaque. I give dry cat food like my vet says and also the dental kitty treats, I had tried brushing but that was a battle and a half anyone with a fiesty cat can tell you that.

okay so, my cat, who is an outdoor cat had moved her new born kittens a while ago and because she is an outdoor cat, i couldn't figure out where she put her kittens. only today i found out that she ate them. a neighbour of mine told me that he saw her eat her kittens and when he tried to take it out of her mouth, she ran away. Do mother cats normally eat their kittens? even after theyre 18 days old? aren't they meant to eat them (if they do) when theyre born?
i feel so angry with her. i was disgusted that she would do such a thing.

I have two cats: Napoleon Bonaparte (male) and Josephine (female). They are from two separate litters and are both approx. 2 years old, Napoleon being just a couple months older than her.

I have noticed that if he is ever separated from both her and me, he cries loudly and begs for company. He gets very lonely. Also, I have noticed some other strange things. Sometimes when he and she is together, he chases her and holds her down and bights her ear very hard, like he's trying to torture her. She struggles and he just thinks she's playing.

There are other indications too. Napoleon has done more damage to little things than she's ever done, such as tearing stuff up. Josephine is a very calm cat and seems very normal, and is less of a hassle to deal with.

Should I be concerned here? Is it possible that my cat will grow up to be a serial killer?

So i have 2 cats that are 1 and a half years old now and have been indoor cats. Now we have moved to a clean apt and they are not using their litter and destroying the carpet so we had to put them outside. There are other apt cats and a few strays outside too. Will they survive as outside pets since they never have been?

My cats have recently started pooping on the floor, and on things on the floor (clothes and that sorta stuff), there has been times where they nock a sweater or other clothes off of the table or chair and then poop on it. They have a litter box that I regularly clean.. Would getting another one help? Any other advice would be awesome.

A few years ago, my cat had a bad reaction to the Advantage flea treatment. Since then, I have never used flea treatment on her nor have I my other cats. I do not want to risk putting any chemicals on my cats. What should I do about fleas? I do not want to use flea collars because I have heard that the chemicals on them can irritate a cat's neck. Are there any effective, natural products that I can give to my cats that will prevent fleas? I don't want them to suffer with fleas; however, I'd rather my cats have fleas than risk another bad reaction to Advantage or any other treatment.

He has a blackspot on two of his black teeth. I also think he is my cat who has been throwing his food up. He doesn't act like he is in pain. The food I find is is whole and there is no hair in it. None of the food is chewed. Would a cavity cause him to swallow food whole? How do you keep a cat from getting a cavity? Would it make his breath smell HORRIBLE?

I want my male cats to stop producing kittens but I do not want to get his testicles removed! Looks and sounds cruel!
Any alternative? Like a cat vasectomy? If we can do it to humans... cats should be easier!
He is a show cat and he produces the most beautiful kittens, but also a bad smelling pee and I am tired to deal with it, he never marked or spayed but is pee smell in his litter box is horrible, he has the purrforma and I tried to toilet - train him ( no luck)
Thank you!!!
Please serious answers!!

My cat (20 years old) all of a sudden started to pee and poop in a corner in my bedroom. She has never, never done this. Before this started my dog would go over to the same corner and start rubbing her body in that corner like she was getting high or something? Then I found a bunch of dead flying ants in this corner?!!! We moved into this house 3 weeks ago, and this just started. HELP!!!
WHat is going on!

No matter what I do to show him that it is wrong he continues to do it. I don't know if it is something with the smell of them or what.

I have a pure black cat named Wolfgang. I love him dearly. He's an in-out cat, who spends part of his day hanging around the neighborhood. And no, he doesn't kill birds, except maybe in his dreams.

This is a very Halloweenie town, and not small or close-knit. I'm quite frightened of letting him out.

Will he get picked up and used in Satanic rituals or to dress up someone's party?

Of course, he's bothering me to go out so much right now that it's tempting . . .

He says "Hi" to your cats.

3 weeks ago we got a kitten and had already decided that we want to get another one for him to play with. We have the 2nd one now and I don't know what would be a good way to get them to mix with each other because the 1st one has become a little territorial and I'm worried that he might hurt the new kitten. Has anyone got any good ideas how I can do this? We have tried putting them together but the older kitten just ends up pouncing on the new one.

isn't this just the most awesome breed of cat? I own several - all purebred, all adopted from rescue organizations so anyone thinking they have to pay hundreds of dollars for one of these beautiful animals are wrong. I have seals, torties and a flame. If you love Himmies, tell your story and why you think they are the greatest.
