He has a blackspot on two of his black teeth. I also think he is my cat who has been throwing his food up. He doesn't act like he is in pain. The food I find is is whole and there is no hair in it. None of the food is chewed. Would a cavity cause him to swallow food whole? How do you keep a cat from getting a cavity? Would it make his breath smell HORRIBLE?

I am going to take him tomorrow. This sounds gross but do you think I should pick up some up his vomit and tack it with me?

Take the cat to the vet for a check up. They will probably advise a dental and any necessary tooth extractions.

If your cat's teeth are black then it has gum disease. Please take your cat to the vet. Tarter are signs of a cavity.
