My cat's fur was much smoother when I used a tool called the Furminator. It looks like a little rake that combs out all the loose fur. It's amazing how much you can get off one cat! My cats all like it and come running when they see it.

Also, the quality of the food you feed your cat has a direct relationship to the quality of your cat's fur. If you do change, though, make sure it is very gradual. I hope you're still giving her kitten food for now. Yes, it's good to avoid chemicals whenever possible.

Wring out a nice wash cloth in nice warm water. Be like a soothing mom and first wipe her pretty face, from nose to the neck. Do it a few times. rinse the cloth often in, the warm water. Do her stressed back..hair will let loose..just wipe it on a rag or towel, then shake it out (outside) She is a good mom and, needs your love.

I use to wipe my cat down w/ animal wipes w/ lanolin. It helped w/ the cat dander and really made the fur soft. I bought them at Walmart.

Awww, kittens.. =^..^= how sweet!

You can feed the mother cat kitten chow. It's far higher in calories than regular cat food.. and she will probably love it.
