I just got a cute black cat.

She's about 7 months old and likes to jump around and bite in everything (O_o)

So anyone has ideas for a name?

For those of you who've been following my kitty/kidney saga, it turns out that my cat tested the same levels for blood and urine when I got a second opinion. Dr. Badfield left out the fact that it could possibly be a bladder infection instead of a problem with the kidneys. This second vet charged me $60 when Badfield charged me $250 for the same tests. They also lied repeatedly on the phone about there being no office charge ($34.95) for a dental appointment and I have this on tape. Is there any way I can get my money back or can I report them to someone?

I discovered a few fleas on my cats. They hate baths so I am thinking of getting some advance or something along those lines we can both spare our sanity and avoid a bath. I also noticed some fleas in the house. I would like to get rid of them without pesticides which can harm my cats. I cant bomb the house because I have no where to put my cats or myself while the house is being bombed. the problem isnt severe but I want to get the fleas gone. Is their some natural way to do this without chemicals? Someone told me that all cats have fleas but I dont believe that to be true but then again I dont know. I imagine if they are outdoor cats it is possible but mine are indoor cats. I think the problem started when i brought in a throw rug from my front porch because that seems to be where most of the probelm was so I threw it out. my cats are smart though, they are avoiding the floor. Instead they are hanging out on my shelf, the computer desk and the fridge. Smart kitties!!

She's due around the end of this month. I've never had a pregnant cat before, although I have worked with kittens... I just don't know what to do for her. Is there anything I should/shouldn't do? Also, how do I know when she's going into labor? And if she ends up giving birth in the garage (and if I'm away from the house) will the kittens wander off or stay at the place of birth? The reason I ask is that our garage is quite messy right now and there's a lot of dangerous areas. Please advise.

Ok this is rather disgusting but I am quite concerned. My cat took a dump and it was like a yellow mousse with some blood in it? Very worrying...and super disgusting. Has someone had a similar experience with their cat?

He had diarrhoea before, then it went away, then we changed his diet to shredded chicken (boiled and then dried) and plain rice.

Then suddenly I found this monstrosity of a yellow turd? What the hell? Never seen anything like it...I was wretching trying to clean it up...wrong on so many levels.

Her cat has no hair around the area and it just looks like its getting worse. There is this tiny hole and if you look closely you can see this little thing move in and out. I thought it was a worm or something but i would like to kno if anyone else knows what it could be.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ANSWERING WITH
"GO TO THE VET"

My siamese (female) is about 8 months now and has gone into heat a few times now. My bf and I noticed she has been less active (sleeping alot) and not eating any wet food. When she does it it's dry food and not alot of it.
We took her to the vet yesterday and they gave her some fluids and checked her blood (was fine). She was dehydrated.
The vet says she may be acting like this because she hasn't been spayed.

My bf called the vet today to ask advice about this rescue remedy and all they want is money! They said of bring her down and we can watch her for the day. They are guessing about what is wrong, maybe it's this maybe it's that. How much fricking money do I have to spend?! I don't feel the vet wants to help us out in giving any advice they just want us to spend more money!
We will plan on getting her spayed, but in the mean time does any one have any advice because force feeding her does not work + it stresses her out?

it will suddenly wake-up and start meowing loudly and act really scared of everything around it. After about two minutes it calms down and loves everyone again. I adopted him at six years old, and he has them about every two nights or so.

What the heck is going on in that cat's mind?

Ok so I have one indoor cat. I have an automatic litter box but have quit using it because it doesnt really work, so now I just scoop it. I scoop it at least once daily and put that powder stuff you can buy to "freshen" the smell. However, everytime I come home... my room stinks to high heavens. I dont get it, I scoop it all the time! Are there anythings I can do??

Hi! so my cat just had kittens and shes been acting kind of weird biting herself and hissing and we just found a flea! Is it okay for her to wear her flea collar while shes nursing her young??? or should we seek a vet to deal with our little flea problem? also does this mean the kittens have fleas?

At first I suspected worms, but her weight is increasing. She never used to be a greedy cat when it comes to food, and all of a sudden she eats probably twice as much as usual. She isn't pregnant because we don't let her outside. She has this big, soft, saggy belly now.
Her attitude hasn't changed at all, still playful as ever, her skin/fur/eyes/nose all look fine. I don't know why she won't stop eating!
She is about a year, a little over. Any idea what's wrong with her?
