i have a kitten that i rescued from abuse. he was thrown over a fence at less than 24 hours old. i have him on kitten formula right now but he has pooped since i got him wednesday. he will wet but not poop. will he poop on just formula? if so does anyone have advice to help him go, i have tried stimulating him but he still doesnt poop.

try a wet baby wipe or wet paper towel? maybe the wetness will stimulate the baby to have a bowel movement.

yes, they have bowel movements on forumla... you could also try putting a bit of DARK karo syrup in its formula.

probalby the best solution is to call a vet or even a cat breeder in your area for the best advice.

The only answer is to have this kitten seen by a vet immediately. At least part of what goes in does have to come out. If it doesn't, it could cause the kitten to become very ill. Please, take your kitten to a vet.

Take the kitty to the vet now. He could have a blockage. He needs to be checked anyway. Great that you took him in- now care for him well.

i would try kinda rubbing it's butt with a warm damp washcloth.

he may be constipated... ask your vet
