I found a kitten and bought it home with me.He's very active, which i don't mind but he(moses) attacks my feet and hands. I distract him with toys and play but he continues to go after my feet and hands. He also climbs up my screen windows. what else can I do to cut out these behaviors?

He is a kitten, all movement (feet and hands) attracts him as he is learning his "hunting" skills. He climbs the screens because he wants to be high to be able to look down on his prey. You just need to reprimand him by catching him on his way up and telling him "NO" with a GENTLE swat on the bottom as you take him off. Get him some toys to play with. A lot of times you dont have to buy anything. Just figure out what seems to catch his attention by noise, size, etc. and can be his to damage to keep him happy. I had a cat that the sound of crumbling cellaphane got his attention. Made sure it was big enough so he could not eat it and he was happy to chase it all over the house. Stopped the problem.

You will have to train him that your not a play toy. Use water and spray him everytime he plays with your hands and feet and also use the word no so he knows the meaning . Also try not to move your hands or feet around like your playing with him so he doesnt get confused. Only use toys to play and not body parts. As long as you keep the training he should learn within a week not to go after your hands/feet.

These are natural kitty behaviors and the tips provided by others can help train him.
Another option is get an adult cat instead of a kitten. Most people think kitten when they think about adopting a cat, but there advantages to adopting an adult cat.

well as far as your windows go do you have a cat scratcher he may need one but my kids scratch on my screens too. as far as them getting on your feet and hands it is his way of bonding with you.he is after all a kitten and just like with most kids they want to feel and touch you.notice how babies(humans)will bite eat anything they get their hands on.moses should grow out of this but you can detour him with a water bottle or a mix of vinegar and water cats hate vinegar.

My male cat nips my feet when I am giving him can food. He is showing me he is happy. He never does this when I give him dry food, alone. With the screen clawing, provide him with a scratching post, and slightly push out his claws on it, to show him what to do. Scratch the post using his claws with it. That's how my cats learned. Every time you catch him scratching your screens, take him away, and put him to the post. He'll learn soon. Thanks for saving a lonely kitty. Bless ya!
