She is in a brand new place and scared. Give her time to check the place out and get over her nerves. Don't force her to come out of hiding. Just do your normal routine and let her come around at her own pace. Talk to her quietly when you see her. It may take a few days but she will get bored and hungry and come around. Just keep out some food and plenty of water. She may even wait til everyone goes to bed tonight before she eats. She'll be ok if she's otherwise healthy.

I would suggest closing her into a quiet, unused room for a while with a litter box, food and water. Let her get used to the smell of the house and the idea of being in the house for a while, and then open up the rest of the house to her.
Another option would be to get a nice big box. Put blankets down, and make it into a little kitty condo, with a litter box, food, and water. Put the box in a quiet corner of your living room or kitchen, and put the kitty inside. Let her hide in there for as long as she wants, and let her hide in there whenever she feels scared.
Don't worry too much about her not eating. She'll eat when she's hungry. If she doesn't eat or drink for 24 hours, however, I would start to worry. If she goes that long, call a veterinarian's office and see what they would recommend.

it's ok don't worry, she will eat soon, she just isn't hungry. she's just not comfortable and sure her trips over. she might feel a little upset if it was a car ride that got her home to you. some cats vomit in cars. are you feeding the same food as she was use to? she might be picky but will eat anything when she does get hungry. they don't eat a whole lot, especially if you have them on the best quality food. it a very good idea cause they don't poop as much. the cheap food they eat twice as much to get the nutrition they need but poop 3 times as much. you should maybe offer her a little soft wet food, they always go for that, just a teaspoon though or she will end up with diarrhea. have fun with new kitty!

Give her time to adjust. We normally give a new animal their own quiet place with food and water and don't bother them for a while. That way they can get used to the smells and all without having to come out for food if they are hungry. It will take some time, but she'll eventually feel safe.

She will come around. When I first got my cats (as kittens) one of them hid in the closet for about 3 hours...She will start exploring in her own time and will eat adn drink when she needs to, don't worry...As others have said don't force her.

it will take her time to adjust and become comfortable enough to eat. make sure you leave food and water down during the night, and she will probably eat then. make sure you show her where it is.
take care! good luck,
