This is my suggestion and it has worked for me and others:

When she climbs into your bed for playtime: Capture her and hold her close!!!!

Since this is not what she wants, she will run away. Let her!

If you do this each and every time she gets into the bed, she will stop coming to the bed for play time and only come for cuddle time.

PS IMO 4-6 months is when kits are most rambunctious. They get another short burst of crazies around 8-9 months. Once your kit becomes a full grown cat, believe it or not, you'll look back and miss the cute crazy times.

When we first got our cat, he was a little kitten, and he liked to run around at night too. We ended up keeping him locked in the laundry room at night. Now is loves to sleep with us all night. Just give it time.

Cats are naturally nocturnal, and almost all cats suffer from what a lot of owners affectionately refer to as 'the midnight crazies'. If toys aren't working, my suggestion is to get her a friend. Generally when there are two kittens, she will play with the other kitten when you aren't being interesting enough to keep her entertained, instead of her depending on you as her sole source of amusement. Trust me, in the eyes of kittens, us humans can be quite boring at times. :)

She will still want to cuddle and play with you, but if you aren't responding to her demands when she deems it necessary for you to do so, she will turn to the other cat instead of keeping on bugging you.

Good luck, I hope this helps!

Cats are naturally nocturnal, the best thing is to get her really tired out just before bedtime, with lots of playing, if she is exhausted she should sleep through the night

like any baby, she's going to want attention when she is most awake -- at night. Try wearing her out before you go to bed by playing with her until she gets tired. I wouldn't lock her out of the room, she's just going to make noise to get you up.

You could always get her a friend, or even provide some type of stimulation for her while you are asleep, aside from toys she has to move around. other than that, welcome to parenthood.

you should be thankful she behaves like this, she is a healthy kitten!

we have the same problem with our kitten, there is no explanation really, they just want attention when they cant have it, I'm hoping she will just grow out of it, like our other cat now 1 year old. try locking it out of your bedroom, if it doesn't cry, !
