I would like to thank all of you who answered my question this week. You are all so very kind. I will miss my little Mochi, but he is in a better place and for the time I had with him I am grateful.

I work at the humane society as a volunteer, and recently they've begun a crackdown on ill cats. It's one of my jobs to report any possible symptoms of disease.
Well, there was a cage of 3 kittens, and two were sneezing. What's the right choice? I had two choices-not report the sneezing and risk all three of their lives or possibly save all three, or to report the sneezing and get the two kittens killed but definetly save the third.
What's the right choice? Why?

I have a cat with 10 day old kittens. She has diarreah and threw up last night. Should I supplement feed the kittens until she is better or will that make them ill as well?

His eyes have discharge that comes and goes, as well as congestion. He has been on and off antibiotics for the past two and a half months, but it doesn't seem to help his symptoms.

whenever i am laying in bed,he will jump up next to me and he will bite on my sweatpants around where my shins are and just tug and tug at it until i have to get him off, if im wearing shorts then he knows not to bite my leg because it would obviously hurt me, then what is his fascination with biting pants?

We have been battling ringworm on my cat for about 7 months. Sometimes he goes 2 months with none. He has taken fulvicin and had antifungal baths. I have bleached what I can in my house. I am not throwing out my new furniture or my carpet. I tried cleaning the rugs- even adding a little bleach. I am pregnant and if we don't get rid of it soon my husband says the cat has to go. (We don't want our baby getting it) But who can I get to adopt a cat with ringworm. I need help. What else can I do?

Do you think your cat loves you? Even if you don't think that animals can feel emotion, do you want to believe he or she feels a genuine affection for you?

I was just sitting at the computer eating a bowl of cereal when my 7 pound cat jumps up on the table. While I'm reading, she bends her head down and takes a lick or two, then procedes to lick her lips. Can she get a diarrhea from just one or two licks of milk?

Our two cats are ate up with fleas. We've given them at least 3 flea baths and got them flea collars, but they still have fleas. Is there anything else that we can do to get rid of the fleas, or should we take them to the vet?

My cat is only like two years old and today and yesterday he's been acting word. Yesterday he walked into my room and stated sniffing my clothes(they were on the floor) and then he went to a shett and peed on it but my sister slapped on the but and he just stood in the half way under my bed and still on the sheet peeing. And today I was on the couch and he layed down next to me(it like never does that) and then he peed and after he did he got off the couch and started cleaning himself. What could it be. My mom is saying that he's spraying for territory(I have another cat that we had for about 4 months) but he doesn't hiss at her or anything. Thanks.

My boyfriend's cat has milky white fluid coming from his eye. The eyeball is glassy, he keeps it closed alot, and he cleans his eye alot. We are not sure how this happened, but we think that my boyfriend accidentally bumped him in the eye with his leg, as Buddy is always underfoot. We can't take him to the vet as we are leaving to out of town tommorow morning, plus because he had a botched laser declaw recently, and went to the vet alot for that. So we feel terrible about putting him through all that. We have some leftover antibiotic from the surgery, and we put triple antibiotic on his eye. This has been going for a couple days. What should we do?

From 7 pm to 9 pm she had most all signs of labor (clear discharge, painful meowing, consistant licking, and nervous pacing.
Today, she is acting perfectly fine, as if nothing happened, eating regularly and assuming the usual cat nature.
Can anyone relate? Answers, besides the vet, would be greatly appreciated.

Can I wear flea collars on my ankles while I'm in the house? It's just for a little while until the bug guys can come spray for fleas. They are EVERYWHERE. In our bed, On the piano, everywhere. EVERYWHERE!!!!! I'm being eaten alive!
