My cat is only like two years old and today and yesterday he's been acting word. Yesterday he walked into my room and stated sniffing my clothes(they were on the floor) and then he went to a shett and peed on it but my sister slapped on the but and he just stood in the half way under my bed and still on the sheet peeing. And today I was on the couch and he layed down next to me(it like never does that) and then he peed and after he did he got off the couch and started cleaning himself. What could it be. My mom is saying that he's spraying for territory(I have another cat that we had for about 4 months) but he doesn't hiss at her or anything. Thanks.

That doesn't sound at all like spraying.

Most likely he has a bladder infection. You should take him to see your vet for a urinalysis and treatment.

When they spray, they back up to an upright structure (like a wall), hold their tail very high, and spray urine as high as they can get it.

If this is happening all of a sudden after two years of no such incidents, it is almost definitely a UTI (but check with a vet asap!). It is also possible this is stress -induced because of a new cat moving in on his territory. If your vet rules out a UTI or other medical cause, try Feliway. You can buy it as either a spray or a diffuser (I prefer the diffuser). It releases calming scents (humans cannot smell them) that relax that cat and it does an incredible job at ending territorial marking.

My cat did the same thing to me for about 6 months and I couldnt figure out what was going on with him. After looking on the internet and trying new things, I came across a woman who was saying how her cat is a "neat freak". If the bed wasnt made he would pee on it, cloth left on the floor...pee on them, anything! After reading that I had nothing to lose so I tried it. My cat hasnt gone on anything of mine since then.
My house smells better and at the end of the day, I am a much cleaner person.
Cats will also act out if there have been any major changes made.

Anytime a cat starts suddenly peeing outside of his litter box, especially if there's not a new animal introduced into the house, the first thing you have to look for is a urinary tract infection. Cats will have pain from a UTI and associate it with their litter box and pee somewhere else in an attempt to alleviate the pain. You should take him to the vet.

Check for urinary tract infection or crystals. This can be dangerous for a male cat. And painful. They associate the discomfort they feel when urinating to the litterbox, so they pee elsewhere.

Has this Tom been neutered?
He is marking territory. Once this starts it is very hard to stop it.
Also cats can be very fussy about sharing litter boxes. Put another box somewhere for him.
