Or close to that meaning?

I live a mile from neighbours and this young adult cat turned up 5 weeks ago in our yard. He was entire so we had him neutered after we tried to find his owner. He loves humans and is very friendly and cuddly and follows us everywhere. He hates other cats and chases them and attacks them whenever he gets the chance. Two of my cats have had visits to the vet since he came. He now lives in an outhouse at night and I let the cats out and they then stay in during the day while he goes out. He doesn't roam away at all but prefers to lie on his bed in the utility room and wait for us to go and play with him and give him a cuddle. He has terrorised the cats so much that we don't know how to integrate him, or if we can do so now. We want to keep him if we can as he is so beautiful and loving to us, but don't know what to do next. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Should we ask our vet for drug treatment? Should we try and rehome him? (We have put notices up with no response so far)

I have three cats and we feed them all at the same time every day. Once in the morning. I don't know if you're supposed to feed a cat more than once a day, we usually don't because one of the cats always throws up if we feed him twice in one day... But, they've never complained or begged for food except in the morning. A couple of days ago one of my cats started meowing this horrible gravely crying meow while he was sitting in front of the food bin. He had been fed that morning but he sounded so pitiful that we fed him again. He almost jumped into the food bin when we opened it and then ate ravenously like he couldn't eat it fast enough. He's been doing that ever since for about 3 days now with the same meow and everything, but he seems to be getting very thin... Other than the eating thing, he seems pretty healthy. He's mostly an indoor cat, but gets outside on occasion. What could be wrong with him? Does he have worms or something?

I have bought 15 different kinds of dry cat food and then started to get cups of food off friends to try her and she doesn't like them... The only way she will eat it is if I mix it with soft food. How can I get her to eat hard food???

my cat is a almost two years old. up until very recently she has been really well behaved. she sleeps in the house during the day and then hunts for mice at night. she's always been a bit easily frightened but in the last week she's been acting strangely: staying away for the whole day and being very unsociable. this morning, she wouldn't go outside when offered, and then proceeded to climb on to the windowsill to do the toilet. i'm thinking it must be behavioural, given that we had given her the option only minutes before to go outside to do her 'business'... the only thing i can think of is that she and our dog despise each other, sometimes shes too scared to go into rooms where the dog is. but i don't know why that would start to affect her so much now, after two years.

any thoughts?

I would never offer tap water to my wife or child. We live in FL but both come from the northeast where the water is a bit "lighter". The tap water here (and there) tastes really horrible and cannot be very good for our bodies to drink. That being said, would our cats benefit from exclusively using bottled water instead of tap water from now on?? Thanks for the info and have a great new years!

I have a 5 month old house cat, last night I noticed that there was puss coming out of one of his eyes which he was cleaning away himself however his eye is still pretty swollen. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? He's also been sneezing quite often so wasn't sure if it was the cold of some sort!

Thanks

it cost 100.00 just fo a visit for a check up and meds, even the low vcost places are sort of high for someone working a pretty close to minimum wage job , we want to enjoy the companionship of a pet too, I have taken in 2 ferals it s sad when the animal is sick or not feeling well, at least humans can go to an emergency and be BILLED I have never even found a vet thats willing to bill, and I am in Chicago where you would think there would be some like that

My boyfriend bought my kitten some snacks/treats but Im pretty sure they are for adult cats only. I trusted my boyfriends judgment and I assumed he checked to see if it was for kittens. But it does not say its for kittens but it also doesnt say not to give it to kittens. Now he is throwing up and wont play with his sister. All he's done all night and all morning is lay around the house he wont play and he is always so so playful. His sister did not want any snacks and shes as playful as ever. Will this pass or should I take him to the Vet? He is 4 months old.

We walk our cat on a leash. He loves going outside and it's the only way he gets to go out. We recently moved to a small town and have been getting some weird looks from people. I don't mind the looks I'm just curious how many other people do it. He's really good at it and mostly stays on the sidewalks. He's actually better behaved than some of the dogs around here.

I know some lillies are poisonous for cats to ingest. My cat keeps nibbling on the red roses my guy got me. I know it can't be healthy, but will it harm him?
