I think it is horrible. Nature or not, people shouldn't allow their pets to kill other people's pets! I had this happen to a kitty of mine several years ago, and it started a huge neighborhood feud between the owner of the dog (the kind which was scary/vicious and should not be allowed to roam like it did) and other people in the neighborhood who had problems with the dog. The dog was also seen chasing livestock (which is illegal in most places). Long story short, someone eventually shot the dog. Some people may think it's no big deal for a dog to kill a cat, but believe me, there are people who do think it's a big deal, and they will do something about it, whether it is to kill the dog, or get the pound to take it away. Anyone who knows their dog will hurt or kill cats or other peoples pets should be wise and respectful enough of others to keep the dog contained and prevented from doing bad things, or else pay the consequences.

i dont know, all i do know is it that it happened to me. my best friends dog is a staff bull she always said he was soft and wouldnt hurt a fly then he attacked and killed her rabbit. didnt think nothing of it until i found my cat dead in the back alley where i live. i'd only had her a year and she chose us to live with as she was a stray we even gave birth on the same day! i thought she had been run over but on closer inspection i realised it was her dog. i was heartbroke and still am. needless to say we fell out and i felt a strong need to report the dog fearing he may turn on a child but i didnt. i was wrong not to report him because when she moved away her dog did the same thing to another neighbours cat and killed that too! so is it right for her to still keep the dog when its killed more than once and for her to say its just in his nature? i hope she says the same if god forbid he ever turns on her or her kids which i hope doesnt happen. because the guilt i would feel knowing i could of prevented it i cant comprehend.

I think it's a horrible thing to let a dog run loose so that has the opportunity to kill a cat, which is what most dogs would do if given the chance. And, dog owners know this except for the ones who are in denial. All is fair in love and war. I say kill the dog and everyone is even.

Bull dogs tend to be a very aggressive breed of dog, you shouldn't have a cat in the same home as a bull dog

If the cats have been unfastened on their components, then you definately have not have been given any recourse. If the cats have been on your components and their canine got here on your components then they're in charge to compensate you for the shortcoming of the cat (according to probability $50-a hundred). for this reason you on no account permit cats roam unsupervised outdoors.

I think cats should be indoor pets only, to avoid this kind of thing. I would guess it's unlikely this happened in someone's home, right? So it's the fault of both pet owners, for not having their animals contained, and under control.

You can't really blame a dog for killing a cat or a cat for killing a mouse etc. It's in their nature. But it is quite a vicious thing to do, I really love dogs who don't hurt cats.
