It's common for females to be in heat for a prolonged time. What is actually happening is, she's probably having a few days of no heat and then her body is forcing herself right back into heat, on and off and the cycle just continues. The best thing you can do for her is to get her spayed (and her sister). The more heats a cat goes through, the higher her potential is for getting Mammary Cancer later in life. That disease most often results in surgery as well as the possibility of death. If you love your cats then do them a favor and get them spayed. Good luck!

First thing Id say is, make sure you change their litter frequently if they are going on the floor. But having had cats all my life, I know sometimes they seem to do it for no reason. Call your vet. A lot of times they will answer your question on the phone without you having to go in.
As a side note, the SPCA recommends that you get your pets spayed and neutered as soon as you can. It prevents you from ending up with a box of kittens that the spca then has to find homes for or kill, which they don't like doing. Also, if you get your cats spayed, they will not go into heat at all. â¥

My cat has been going through the same thing too, he sometimes stays outside and sometimes inside. he has been in heat for abouth 2 to 3 months as well. I guess it depends on the cat on how long it will take them. Also I found out that if you get them fixed they wouldn't be in heat anymore. I should do this too, my cat meows to loud we have to put him outside w/ the other cats.
I hope this helps you out a lil bit :o)

Yes, best advice is go to you vet and explain what is happening, the vet can do a few checks and may have to neuter her.
