My cat who is 1 year old eats all the bugs in the garden whenever I let him out - snails, caterpillars, slugs, beetles. He has been neutered and shares the backyard with my Jack Russell

I have multiple cats in my house. I noticed today, one of the female cats was going around and smacking the other cats. They did nothing to provoke her. She just walked right up the them and smacked them. She even jumped up on the chair where one of my other cats were sitting, and smacked him in the butt. Why is she exhibiting this behavior?

We live in rural area and a long way from anything. I don't know if she is just experiencing problems from something bad that she may have eaten outside. She is an inside cat, but does go outside to use the bathroom and sometimes stays a hour or two. I gave her some milk, which I don't normally do but she threw it up. She is about 5 yrs old and has never been sick before. She is our first pet and we don't know what to do tonight. Please help!

There's two stray cats wondering around the front porch past midnight, partially because, I think, I fed them something the other night.

Question is, would there be problems feeding the stray cats such as causing other unwanted strays to gather, etc, which I would like to avoid, though I do feel bad for them.......

Is there better alternatives?

I've had my cat for about 8 years, but lately she asks for stuff all day long. she asks for food, sometimes eats a little and comes back to me after 10 minutes (she wants a new fresh serving!) She drinks water from the sink, and is asking so much more often than before.
She scratches the mirror on my dresser, or boxes, or jumps on top of me. She doesn't do this with the rest of my family. I feel bad if I don't take care of her. She wakes me up during the night. My family tells me she doesn't really ask for much when I'm not around. Does she think I'm her slave?

I've tried EVERYTHING to get my 3 year old cat to stop pooping on the floor away from her litter box. We've been to the vet, changed her litter types/styles/smells, changed the litter box type, size, top on/off, everything - and believe me I've searched the net multiple times to find ideas for solving this issue - but nothing seems to work. I've tried to tell her "no" while I caught her in the act, but it's like she doesn't seem to care. I personally think this is behavioral as we got a kitten about 5 months ago, however, she really loves the kitten and her litter box is private for just her, the kitten has his own, and then there's one litter box that is common ground. But she only uses the box that is just for her, and only to pee - she poops outside of that box on the floor. She never uses any of the other boxes for anything. What can I do, any ideas? Thanks guys, I really appreciate it!

We have a litter of three kittens that were born July 4. Two of them are doing fine and very playful. The third one has suddenly stopped eating and is loosing weight rapidly, we wormed him last week and it didn't seem to do anything. He still gets around and plays with the others but looks bad. Our vet is out of town for a seminar till thursday and the other vet is booked till wednesday and the jerk he is wouldn't make room. Anyone know of anything that can try till our vet gets back

How can I get my cats to leave me alone when I'm doing things? They always want to "help" me when I am on the computer, reading a book, doing laundry, and things like that.

I've tried pushing them away, taking them into another room and telling them that "mommy can do this by herself and doesn't need their help"! But nothing seems to work.

What do you do?

Now this is the first time she has ever done this she is only about 3 months old but she has never peed or pooped in the floor but as soon as I brought in that other cat she pooped in the floor and I know she wasnt scared. I had the other cat in a carrier and she was just looking through the bars at him, and then she just walked off and pooped. Now since she has done this once does it mean she will keep on doing it? And how can I keep her from doing it?

SO you gett one cat, and she gets pregnant and next thing you know you have 5 and thats a lot of money to shell out for spay and neutering and then you have 25 or more cats, My question is, is it wrong to give more than 1 cat to someone on a special occassion like a Birthday or for Holidays? or is it only appropriate to give one cat at a time
