cannot use most flea kill products on those babies...give her a nice bath, warm water in a warm room..get a really good flea comb from Petco or someplace similiar..and comb her while in the bath...the soap will make the fleas easier to kill..I use the edge of my fingernail to "pop" them against the edge of the comb...rinse well..and keep her warm until dry..use shampoo just for kitties..check w/the store what's safe for a baby...may have to be done more than once...

CapStar in sold at your vet for under 3 dollars. It can be giving to a 7 week old kitten. CapStar kills fleas but not the eggs. Buy 1 and give the kitten 1/2 of it once a week. It can be giving daily. If the kitten weighs less then 2 lbs, you can give 1/4 of a cat capstar.

First bring your kitten to the vets to get Revolution, secondly you must vacuum, then spray with a good flea spray, then vacuum again. Also wash all your bedding in hot water. Only then will you get rid of all the fleas and the eggs

When I brought my kitten home she was just weaned so I was too scared to use anything on her. I put cotten balls in her ears. I put some vegetable oil in a small bucket and set her in it and worked the oil all over her coat avoiding her eyes and ears. She was very greasy that's for sure. After that I had to bathe her about 5 times but she was free of fleas.

I know it sounds strange but the oil coats the fleas and they can't breath.

A flea bath specifically for kittens-any pet store will have it. You will also have to wash/spray their bedding as well.

Be sure the flea spray and shampoo specify that it is safe to use on kittens.
