wait until the cat has weaned the kittens, that will allow the teats to reduce in size before doing surgery.

i dont like it has to be after the kittens are weaned, because a cat can get pregnant again after she has a litter...i would ask your vet, but i think it's soon after birthing...

I would think that you would have to wait until after the kittens have finished nursing but definitely phone the vet to find out for sure.

Yes. It is vitally important to wait until you know for sure that all of her kittens are no longer nursing on her any more. Then once you've discovered she no longer lets them nurse, you can have her fixed. Otherwise, if you do it while she is still nursing her babies, she won't want to nurse them and they could die.
