I use the flushable Arm n Hammer stuff. it works great and you just flush it down the toilet. It can't get any easier than that! What kind do you use?

As a RN, I had heard of the rumor that cocoa has a toxin deadly to cats and dog, however it depends on the size of the animal, and amount ingested. A final detail that I had heard is that its more toxic to cats, than dogs.

I have been adopted by three cats over the years. I have never "kept" them nor fed them but they still come to me for affection.
Cats are notoriously stand-offish, what am I doing right?

We recently moved to a new house about a month ago. I have a indoor cat that ihas started sneezing with in the past week and now I have caught her peeing in my bathroom sink and in my laundry baskets. There are other cats out side but she has had no contact with them . My cat is a female calaco that is spayed. We never had this problem with her before ,she has always been an angle and did nothing wrong.

with saying to the point of my cat is sick, what do I do? IF YOUR CAT IS SICK TAKE IT TO THE VET

cat's bringing dead things in, KEEP YOUR CAT INSIDE,SAFER FOR THE CAT AND THE WILDLIFE!

come on people! it isn't so hard to take care of a cat, feed it a couple of times a day make sure it has fresh water, scoop out the litter box daily, play with it, have toys for it to play with while you are gone. give it love and attention. if it is sick take it to the vet, don't complain that you don't have enough money to take the cat to the vet. most vets will do a payment plan if you are short of money when your cat gets sick.

What is so hard about that?

I own 2 neutered male cats and was thinking of adding a 3rd. My cats are 2 and 4 years old and would probably adjust to a kitten just fine.

I was thinking of getting another "rescued" kitten like my 2nd cat.

The kitten has the runs and she is afraid it will die. I think a mixture of milk and kitten food is good. What do you think?

My cat get so very territorial over a fuzzy mouse to the point where if you get close to him then he hisses and growls at you, and he keeps that mouse in his mouth and will not let go. My hubby had to hold him down with both hands and I had to try and get the mouse away from him because my daughter wanted to play with it to and we were scared that he would claw the crap out of her if she got close. Why is this. He had never been this way with his toys and someone getting close to him, he usually likes it when you play with him but you give him that mouse and it is a whole new cat and attitude.

I adopted two female kittens about 3 months ago, when they were 10 weeks old. The first kitten is now about seven pounds, while her sister is not even two pounds! She was a runt when I brought her home, but she has hardly grown at all. I have taken her to the vet several times, but we can find nothing physically wrong with her. She is just small. She is completely normal in bone structure (no signs of dwarfism), and she is actually kind of fat for her frame, but she is just tiny in stature. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this?

i have a cat that is a 2 yr old runt. he weighs 9lbs, 3 oz. my vet is a little nervous about fixing him until he is at least 9.5 lbs. however, he enjoys having 'kitty sex' with the blankets off my bed. as a result, i either have to wash my bedding every other day, or sleep in kitty-come. EWW!!!!!!!! how do i get him out of this habbit??? since he is otherwise healthy, is getting him fixed my only option?

I have had a dog (female, 3 years old) and two cats (male and female, year and a half years old,) for some time now. They all get along fine for the most part. If there is a little quarrel between them it's no big deal. However, I just got a new cat from my father--who's cat just had kittens. He is 7 weeks, and won't get along with the other animals at this house. Our older male cat doesn't seem to mind him at all, and the dog is happy to see another animal (it won't attack the kitten, but it will not leave the poor thing alone!), and the female older cat is rather mean to everybody, especially the new kitten. Even though most of these older animals are rather nice, the kitten is either terrified, or seems to just not like the other pets.

Is there any way I can get this new kitten to warm up to the other pets in the house?

I recently fixed 2 of my cats and one of them really seems more calm, the male. He doesn't act crazy and chase things as much. He also sleeps all night, where as he didn't used as much. Is this weird?
