I use the flushable Arm n Hammer stuff. it works great and you just flush it down the toilet. It can't get any easier than that! What kind do you use?

I use Tidy Cat, but I use the kind that can't be flushed. It works best with the Littermaid cat box that I have. Also, flushing cat litter eventually sends it out into the ocean, and it's a huge problem in marine habitats :( Since I live in near Seattle and Puget Sound, I want to do what I can to help it thrive, and even little things can help.

Clumping litter for me. I've read that it's not very good, so I will probably experiment with litters a bit... when I get out of the financial dump I'm in right now (let's say, I have enough money for living, for both the cat and myself, but not enough to experimen...)

And then, I have a large-enough flat to be able to place the box sufficiently far not to be bothered by the smell (and since I started feeding him canned food only, with sometimes raw meat, the stools don't smell all that bad - not as bad as they used to on dry food).

The kind that does not clump. Way way cheaper and I have to pooper scoop anyway so why not? But it must be for multiple cats. My kitten prefers a sterile environment...

clumping unscented. I would never use a flushable litter - that is absolutely disgusting to contaminate our water system with that!
