What can we do to deter her from ruining the furniture and wallpaper!
We have tried shouting at her, squirting her with water, putting tinfoil over the chairs and stuff, ignoring her, we have a very sutible scratching post thats she does use aswell as the wallpaper etc, we also have other things for her to scratch which she also uses, she has plenty of toys for her to play with, and she goes out often (but only on a leash, as we live VERY close to a busy main road, we dont want her to get run over!) and we play with her too, but she just walks away after a while.

Please help what can we do!!!! Shes scratching us out of house and home!

My cat keeps sucking her arm, flexing her claws like she's breastfeeding when she's hungry. She's 5 months old and eats normal food. We used to think the sucking was cute, but now it's annoying and her claws are sharp.nHow do I get her to stop?

I rescued a tiny TINY kitty today with a damaged paw. He's settling in really well - he's had kitty milk and kitty food, he's playing with a blanket and he's just started purring loudly. He's SO cute it's not funny! Actually I haven't checked if it's a boy or a girl, but it mews like a boy cat.
Any suggestions please? He's kind of grey and black and fluffy with the biggest little greeny grey eyes - looks just like a chocolate box kitty!

We moved to a new place, and there are a lot of crickets outside. She hasn't ever wanted to go out before and now she does. Especially at night when she can hear the crickets, she will sit at the door and meow!

She isn't declawed, but she is spayed with shots.

My little brother is 6, we've had Patches for about two years now, she has always been sensitive around her stomach, cause she's fixed. Anyway, i get mad at my brother because he's kinda rough with her, this time i saw him, he gently petted her head, and she tried to scratch him. I pat her head and say "no" (because its worked before when i potty trained her) but, she's already scratched him one, too many times...how can i fix this?

My cat stinks up the litter box so badly it wakes me up at night. I open the windows and try to take care of it as soon as possible, but is there any easy way to cut down on litter box odor?

i have a 6 month old kitten, he is always playful, demanding, mouthy and just plain fun! but for some reason on sundays hes very finiky, skidish and just independant when he's usually relying on me for everything...whats his problem? i swear he's starting to take on my boyfriends chararistics that he has on sundays because of football...i was thinking it might be because my bf is always yelling at the tv when the game doesnt go the way he wants...he is afraid of him now even though the yelling is not towards him. This morning he was back to his usual self, and im sure he will be until sunday again...what can i do?

My 8 month old kitten lost a friend recently so I got him a 6 week old male kitty as a playmate. Now he jumps on top of him and licks him all over, even his butthole and penis. The 6 week old trys to fight him off and runs away but he chases him down grabs him again and licks away.

We go camping quite often and take him with us. He's getting more and more unhappy when we go - but it's just the going and coming home. He's fine in the camper. We're just looking for something that will make him a little mellower while traveling.

I just adopted my 8 1/2 weeks old kitty from Petsmart on Friday and as of yesterday she has developed a mild sneeze. She doesn't do it all the time, just every couple of hours. When she sneezes I haven't noticed any fluids or anything just small sneezes. I don't know if she is sick or just allergic to something in my apartment. What should I do...don't know if this sounds serious or not.

Lately, my cat has been acting peculiar, especially with her potty habits. She's peed and pooped a few times outside of the litter box. I tried to find a solution, and found that whenever she hears me going down the steps to our basement to scoop her box, she races down there to use it. It seems she waits for me to go down before using the box. I didn't move her box to a new location, and she had been using it regularly. This is a fairly recent thing.
