it could be allergies...there is a lot of pollen out this time of the year and we see a lot of cats and dogs come in with allergies. Just to be sure i would get him checked by the vet if he gets any worse. If he stops eating, gets lethargic, and you start to see a runny nose and weepy eyes then he might have an upper respiratory infection which is highly contagious.

this would nicely be an top respiration an infection, which has similarities to a worry-free chilly in people, yet should be risky in a mushy kitten. The vet is definately the most proper ingredient you could do. even if it really is a URI, positioned the kitten in a room with an excellent variety of food and water, and positioned a vaporizer merely intense adequate that kitty won't be able to attain it. this would help decongest his nasal passages and airway, making it a lot less complicated to respire. keep your different kitten away, in view that URI's are contagious. it would pass away after about 2 weeks. yet even with what every person on line says, definately pass to the vet. And to respond to your question, convinced, cat colds and infections should be skipped over to different cats.

I would keep an eye on him for the next day or two, if he doesn't stop sneezing, or his eye gets worse, take him to the vet. You could also call the vet today and explain the symptoms and see what he thinks. Animals usually get over colds by themselves.

my cat had what i thought was a "cold" but it turned out to be a respiratory infection...it only got worse. I took her to the vet and he gave her a shot to calm the inflamation and some antibiotics to take home. She got better after about a week or two.

He may have the cat equivalent of a cold. Or it may be something more serious. If it doesn't clear up in a couple of days, you should take him to the vet for a checkup.

He could also have a resperatory virus such as bordetella or something else. Most of the time if sneezing is going on they need a visit to the vet.

It's a viral infection. Please take your cat to the vet before it turns into a bacterial infection. My cat had the same thing when I got her from the animal shelter a month ago. The vet gave me some liquid antibiotics for her, and she's fine now.
