Spaying or neutering your pet is the only safe way to go. Of course there is non exposure. Any products that you here about on the market I would be very leary about. I have been in the business a long time and I have never heard of anything that I would use on any of my pets that would prove to be safe.

I know you said having them fixed is not an option but there is no other way. If it's beacse money I have heard of some vets doing it for cheep for those who need it. And to answer your question there is no such things as birth control for your dog or cat.

In Fact there is such a thing. Or there was. I have used it before, there is also an abortion shot.Or was, But both can cause serious infection in animals. I had to get one of my Persians fixed because of using them. (I am a Cat Breeder) And a Animal Shelter Volunteer.
It is always best to fix your animals, they live longer, and it will save a lot of lives..

No..there is not birth control for dogs and cats. Having them spayed and neutered is the ONLY option. Why can't you fix your pets??

Why is surgery not an option? Is it cost? because it could and would be more costly to deal with the problems you may encounter if they are not spayed or neutered. There is NO PILL for cats and dogs.

I know there is for dogs. We had pure bred Dobermans growing up. You don't want them to have a litter each time, so Dad would give her the pill every other heat.
I would think they do for cats, but I'm not sure.

Sit your cat down and talk to her mano a mano. Tell her that there are consequences to her actions. If she lets anyone into her pu---, she will get pregnant. Advise her if she has kittens that you will not be responsible and she will have to take care of them herself. For sure the father will not help. Cats are reasonable creatures and they respond to good advice.

cats are awful to give pills to, try to get them fixed
