Symptons: sluggish, feels better in the mornings. Losing weight, not enthusiastic, eyes are glazed, not eating well, I noticed that his belly is bigger than the rest of his body though. He has a temperature. He's been to the vet twice. He doesn't have cancer. He does wheez just a little.

Any ideas will help us out a lot. thanks

Was adopting a cat from a woman that has cats of her own and is also fostering cats for the ESPCA. her next door neighbors moved and couldn't take their 2 yr old cat with them, she took it in and posted it on craigslist. she didn't have much room 4 the cat so she asked another neighbor to house it down their basement. she left the cat on her front porch and when the lady came out to take her in the cat wasn't there. a couple days went by and they got in contact with each other and the lady asked about the cat cuz i wanted 2 pick her up and she said I thought you had her. the neighbor thought the woman that I was adopting the cat from had taken her back into the house, which she hadn't. the lady I was adopting the cat from said she was mostly an indoor cat and didn't go far from her porch. she thinks someone took her in and is hopeful about finding her. I'm very worried and sad and will do everything it takes to get her back. will my method of the large cash reward work, how likely ?

Basically I had put some of the Hartz Flea Drops for kittens on my 5 month old cat about 3 weeks ago and it didn't seem to kill the fleas on him. I have some Advantage for kittens on hand and would like to use it tonight to kill off the last of the fleas. Can I use it safely at this point? The vet had recommended waiting about a month before using another medicine. I'm thinking that since Hartz is a topical medicine not absorbed into the bloodstream vs. Advantage which IS absorbed into the body, it might be okay at this time frame? What do you think?

My problem wild and wooly 4 month old kitten,Tipper, wishes to thank you all for the input and to inform you kind folks that his master (hah) has tried all those tricks and then some short of sticking a shot gun up his--- (I chuckled at that comment). His corgi buddy is a year old and they are true buddys. Got kitten to entertain pup. Imagine if you will: Pup sleeping on bed and Tipper comes running into bedroom leaps up in the air, clearing bed by at least 3 feet and landing on pup. which results in a wresling match then a chase-who is chasing who depends on who gets tagged. No, Tipper does NOT jump up on things to get away from dog. If anything dog should be the one trying to get away from him. Tips claws are clipped on a regular basis. This kitten is long in both body and legs. No nic-nacs sitting around just books and heavier items-they hit the floor nicely. At 6 a.m. all h--- breaks loose and I have to get up or get trampled-not happy camper at that hr. Thanks for your help anyway

About a year ago I inherited my grandmas cat, who was 7 years litter box trained. When I got him he started peeing everywhere in the house! Throw rugs seem to be his favorite, but he pees on everything left on the floor, even if its just a few minutes. When i started hanging up my bathroom rugs after getting out of the shower, he just started peeing on the tile floor. I keep his litter box clean, but he just refuses to use it. I was told by a vet that cats never pee where they eat, but he peed on the floor by his food dishes too. Srpaying cat repellant on things doesnt help either, he just pees on top of it. The only place he doesnt pee is my bedroom, the messiest room in the house. The strangest thing is that when I catch him peeing, he is doing it standing on all fours, sort of tilted towards the object hes peeing on, like a dog would.
I was thinking about doing something to make his litter box more appealing, like putting potted cat nip around it. Any other ideas?

For some reason now (not before last week), my 3 year old female cat flips her head around, twitches a bit and seems agitated, but purrs when you even gently scratch or pat above her tail. Is this something I should have a vet check out because there might be an internal problem, or it is just some stage she's going through?

My cat recently found one of my roomates puppies "nylabones" and absolutely loves it. Although he usually just pushes it around he does occasionally chew on it and i'm just wondering if anyone knows for sure whether it's safe for him or not. It's the flexible plastic bone, not the edible ones. I've contacted the company but haven't heard back from them so I was hoping for some input on here. Thanks!

I looked all over my house, and I could only find one. Has anyone else ever had a cat give birth to one kitten?

My kitten is about 4 months or so, but she is still roughly the size that I got her at 2 months, all the other kittens that I have had before grew much faster, they were at least doulbe their initial length(from nose to hanches, by the time they were 4-5months. She isn't any particular breed, just a black and white, longhair, she eats and drinks properly, but she is still so small!

It's kinda sad that after 18 years I don't know what kind of cat that I have, but there you go. She is all black, has a sort of roundish head. You can go to the 2 websites below to see a picture of her. I'm really curious. Thanks!

I am skeptical about having a cat because I heard that all cats spray their "territory". Is this true?

My cat always does this, much to my confusion. If he jumps up on a chair/bed, he'll settle on a newpaper/magazine to sit (though not to sleep) rather than, what I would consider to be, the more comfortable option of cushion/pillow. I know he's not alone in this. My question is - why?

I have my first two kittens, and I'm noticing that they have fleas bite marks, and on one of them lost of flea bite marks, and a few fleas. Everything I've read in the pet store/walmart/ etc... is for kittens above 12 weeks. I've tried given them a dish soap bath, and the damn fleas still cling for life! Can anybody give me better soap bath ideas on how to rid the fleas, or any other important measures I need to take..(house cleaning? animals food/water dish? etc) I will be sooo thanknful for the information, I love my kittens and hate seeing them being so irritated!

P.S- I know this sounds really bad, but I'm a college student, and can not really afford vet visits just yet (I just got the kittens over the weekend) I'm planning on taking them when I can save money, probably in the next few weeks, or upcoming month.
