No, that's perfectly normal. Whiskers are like any other hair and sometimes they come out.

Cat Whiskers Falling Out

The cat will be fine if only a few fall off. But if a lot of whiskers start coming out, then you may want to ask your vet; because a cat senses things with its whiskers.

Yes, their whiskers fall out from time to time, and will grow back. Just make sure it's not excessive. I mean, if you're finding whiskers all over the place, make an appointment with the vet. Otherwise, no worries.

Whiskers do tend to fall out now and then. It isn't a problem. My cat's whiskers always find their way to my dark dress pants though.

Hi there...cats shed hair and whiskers throughout their lives just like we lose small amounts of hair daily from our head, eye lashes, brows, etc. (men also lose it from the beards, moustaches and body hairs too). A few here and there are considered normal. If she lost a bunch of whiskers all at once then it would be something to be concerned about.

It's normal . . . I sometimes find a stray whisker in the place where one of my cats has groomed herself. Just as they lose their fur (sometimes in large clumps), after a good "bath."

But if the cat is losing huge amounts of fur and whiskers, it may be wise to bring kitty to the vet.

Yes, it is normal. My cats will lose one or two whiskers once in a while.

Eventhough cats use their whiskers kind of like sonar, it's okay if they lose them occasionally. It's just like a hair, eventhough it is more thick and has a stronger root, it's a common thing to have happen.
