No. The medication most commonly used to treat tapeworms is Praziquantel. Roundworms are treated with a variety of other medications. Some dewormers contain both. Let your vet know your cat has tapeworms and they will give you a dewormer you can give at home. Also, cats get tapeworms from fleas (use an effective flea control from your vet every month) or from eating rodents. prevention is the key.

you should not use any medicines.. try Ayurveda which is based on plants... eat one medium size tomato on empty stomach every day for 7 days all types of worms will vanish
