We found a young kitten outside our home and let it come in and out of the house. Recently we've been shutting the doors and the kitten learned to climb up the screen door to get our attention to let it in. How do I retrain it not to climb/destroy our screen door?

One of my furbabies is dropping little sesame seed shaped "things" in her wake. I think I remember this happening to one of our other cats in the past and they turned out to be worm eggs. YUCK! If you think so too, what kind of worm are we talking about, and can my kids and I be in fested with them too? I am totally creeped out here just thinking about it! YUCKO! BTW, I will call our vet, just wanted some in put here.

It has been 2 days now and she keeps moving the kitten to another room in the apartment. Should I let her do that or keep the kitten in the room where it was born and has been staying? Is it okay to let her carry the kitten wherever she wants to bring it and let her handle it?

I would like to make some friends to email one another to share pix and stories of our Furry Babies, our Kitties, who feel as I do about them, which is they are like our children. PLEASE NOTHING VULGAR OR DIRTY RESPONSES. You will be reported for any PORN or FILTHY LANGUAGE in any way I can do so. I am trained in Forensics Recovery and WILL TRACK you down and bring charges. I want this to be a FAMILY Friendly Discussion experience for everyone who cares to partake in the discussions. We could as I stated earlier send pix, tell stories, and share how our Babies bring us love and companionship to us. Be able to make new friends online, and to keep in touch with one another through our common interests. Other Pet Owners are welcome also. If you have a Web-Site and your Babies are on it, we could also visit one another's sites. Thanks to all who are interested and reply,

How can i stop my little angels biting? What is the best way to do this? I've read alot about getting them by the scruff on the neck and saying NO loudly and also spraying water. What is best please. Also the love getting hold of my blinds and curtains and climbing up, lemon spray is not stopping them any hints? They are house cats at the moment.

thankyou

i moved house in dec - brought him with me in jan once work had been done (so as not to be disruptive for him) - kept him in for a week and a half, but then he kept waking me up scratching on the carpet every morning - 2am - 4am ....you get the drill. On the 4th morning I was so exhausted i just put him out of the front. And he has been missing ever since! Oh, the guilt!

My cat is a 10 year old female she orinally lived with my parents but I have adopted her as they have moved to Canada. She has been with me for 4 weeks now and she has always been very tiny but very greedy, however the last week she has been moaning continusoly for food, yesterday I fed her a sachet of food in the morining and at 5 when I got home and at 9, but even with all this she still sat by her dish moaning for more all night, but I didnt want to feed her anymore as she seems like she is now getting quite bloated, like i said she has always been greedy and will eat if u put it in front of her but she has never finished a bowl of meat then immedatly moaned for more. Is there anything wrong?

Is it fair on the kitten which one day will grow up to be a cat to stay cooped up inside? I've always had cats all my life but never have had a "house cat" before. But I'd really like a kitten! Can anyone give me some advice?

My kitten is healthy and active but few days ago i found something that looked more like a wound on his upper lip and i thought that the little birds i have attacked him after attacking their cage. The thing is this red wound turned into a black thing which looks more like soil. Now it appeared on his nose and other lip. I think it's even spreading on his lower lip. He doesn't seem to be itching or anything except that i think he seems a bit lazy now. .

What does this mean?

I have a very sweet loving grey 7 yr old cat.Over the years I have tried to introduce other cats into the home with the one an adult male who was fixed .She was hateful to him till he left. The last was an adorable orange baby I was hoping she might adopt. She hissed at him until he ran off and hid in my moms room.In the end I felt it wouldnt work so I gave the little stray to a neighbor. Is there any way to change this? She is always wanting attention and we give it to her but as my mom said she is like an only child and if we had another cat it could be a playmate to her.We love cats and we see lots that need homes. It seems silly that we cannot have one more cat.I mean we have the room. Our cat acts so jealous.I mean she was mad when we brought that kitten in.Is there any treatment for a jealous cat?

Recently, a cat killer in Singapore has been sentenced for a cruel act of torturing cats slowly and eventually killing them.

However, I and many others felt that his sentence is way too little and we need to step up on this.

Please see the below for more information. Let's petition for a tougher sentence to this cold-blooded killer!!!

I've tried obedience training, Water Sprinkling, nothing seems to work

The Vet says the cat is addicted, and he wants to drug it.

Any alternative methods?

My kitten is super affectionate when we're sleeping. She'll knead us all night with her paws. Why do cats do that when they're excited?

If I put a mirror in front of my cat's face, he'll look all around, everywhere except at the mirror.
He totaly ignores the t.v.
I bought a video catnip that shows birds and squirrels running around chirping and stuff. I've seen someone else's cat actually sit down and watch one of these videos. He even took a couple swats at the screen trying to catch the birds.
My cat heard the birds chirping on t.v. and ran to the window!
I don't get it, why do so some cats respond to t.v. images and not others?
