I have a young kitten we got her froma stray cat. We gave her a gentle wash but there are signs of moving larvi. Will "Off" be absorbed through the skin and hurt a cat? I wanted to give her an repellent for figt the remaining critters on her body. They are most near her nose.

Is it more likely to have asthma or cancer? BY what percentage. on 100 cats at age 13 how many would have asthma and how many would have cancer. I asked this because my cat can spit back hairball for two months and has this annyoing problem for her.

My current kitty has lived with my roommate's kitty for about 2 months (same age, same sex) and they get along fine. My roommate is moving out which is the reason I want to get another kitten. I've heard that males are easier to deal with than females but most importantly, I want them to get along and be happy. Another thing is even though my kitty is neutered, he still 'pleasures' himself about 3 times a day by licking his private area. Just wondering if I should be concerned about introducing a female kitten into the house.

Hi my cat is 13 years old . She has never been seek before. But for two months she has been coughing or I should say trying to vomit but cant spit it out. My mom brought the Cat to the vet. The results from X-rays and from the Vet said that my cat has either asthma or cancer. And to make sure that it is or not cancer we have to do ultrasound. So what do you think cancer because she is too old asthma?

this clip was brought to my attention by my colleague, and I was horrified by the clip. I do not know the origin of this clip, but have a look. WARNING: it is really gross and will not be easy to view epsecially if you are a cat lover or despise animal abusers..

I hope to spread this around and should you see anyone around your neighbourhood mis-treating animals, do lend a helping hand to these helpless ones..

I have had her from a kitten and she was potty trained when I got her, but within the last month, she started going on carpet. Up until now she had never gone potty in the house. Now, she has a clean litter box and I come home today and there are two piles on my carpet. They are solid and she doesn't act or appear sick, but something happened. She is not spayed, but she is not spraying urine its solids. My daughter has a puppy that does not live here, but she used to bring him over occasion, so thought that had something to do with it. But have not had him here for a couple of weeks and had the carpets shampooed just to make sure this was not the problem. This seemed to have no effect on the situation. Any suggestions???

She went to the vet Tuesday because she is sneezing, with a runny nose, her eyes are watering and she isn't eating normally. The vet had said she has an infenction in each nostril and prescribed Clavamox. He said we should see results by Friday or we are to contact them to bring her back in. We have seen minimal results but don't want to seem as if we are overreacting by bringing her back. Not to mention she flips out and its getting a little pricey. Anyone have any advice? Help! We want our fun kitty back!

My cat had kittens 5 days ago, and they all keep panting like they are trying to get air...I'm not sure what is going on, is this normal for kittens??

They are in a warm area in my closet so I don't think they are too cold...?

Our cat is a pretty good pet. It has always used the litterbox until the past couple of months. It will pee in the litter box but poop on the carpet in the same spot everytime.

There has been no changes that would stress the cat??? Any suggestions of how to get the cat to stop or any ideas why she might be doing this?

I change my kitty's water 3 times a day, clean the bowl everyday with water and soap ok.and not I never leave soap residue there. I changed his water before I went to bed, when I woke up there was little water left but it was PINK! yes..pink as in the color pink..not red but pink. I thought about maybe blood..but why is it pink? I called the vet and made an appoinment, I talk to her on the phone and she said she had never heard of anything like this!
Have you? any clues? I luv my cat, I'm takin him to get checked, but this is really buggin me out.
THanks
