We are in bucks county Pa, and the reason I am trying to avoid the SPCA and other shelters is because if my grandmother comes home we would like to get the cat back. We can't take it to the nursing home so that is not an option, and my uncle is currently paying elctric bills just for a cat that he is allergic to so keeping it is not an option for him. I am allergic as well and the rest of my family is a bunch of **** heads.

Simple question:
Cat in Space, would it survive on the space station?
Would it adapt?
Would it freak out and poop all over the place?
Would it scratch the crap out of everyone?
Would it eat those space meals?
What do you think would happen?

My cat Bubba has a small hot spot between his shoulder blades. This is the third summer he has gotten it and it comes back in the same place each time. The first year it went away on it's own. Last summer though it got enormous and had to be treated with antibiotics and a special soap and ointment. Bubba was abused as a kitten and generally speaking hates to be touched or even approached so it was really hard to do everything he needed me to do but I managed. This summer I called the vet, told them about it and even though it was less then 12 months since he had been treated for the same thing they would not sell me the medicine again unless I brought him in for an exam. I have a terrible time getting him in the pet taxi and they know this b/c I've had to cancel and reschedule so many times before finally getting him in over the years.

Here's my question - What are some home remedies I could use on my boy? It's a small spot right now. It gets worse when it's humid. Thanks!

My bloody cat has just been to the vets with a swollen cheek, the vet has just told me that he has an abscess, and that he will be better off too have both the teeth out, ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY QUID!...... is he having a laugh or what, i did ask if i could just tie some string around it and attach it to the door, but he wasnt impressed. Is this the going rate or is he just getting rich quick?

And nothing can stop him from not doing it either. There could be a nuclear war going on and he'd be lying there, content with his tail. Any other kittens do this? And why do they do it?

I think I'm allergic to cats that shed, like Calicos, and I was wondering if anyone knows what kind is best.

Some people love it. Some people hate it. What are the pros and/or cons? The vet that I'm going to take my kitten to, gives out a box of free Science Diet samples. I'm just kind of interested as to what's so special about it and what makes it different from any other cat food like Friskies or 9 Lives.

I was at the beach this morning, and as I parked my car I saw the funniest thing ever. There was a big, strong, proud male cat sitting on his perch and majestically watching over his domain. He was an orange long-hair.with a beautiful, healthy gate. The funny part was, his owner had shaved him (perfectly I might add) to look EXACTLY like a lion. He had taken the clippers to everything but what was now his mane and perfect tufts of hair at the end of his tail and four paws. It was maybe the coolest thing I'd ever seen. I thought it was funny cuz the cat was still kickin a s s and takin names... only he was a lion now. So I wanted to know what you wonderful people think, is that cool... or cruel?

My cat has re-occuring gingivitus and has to have her teeth out else she will need continual treatment. If your cat has had it's teeth out how did it cope? Was it the right thing to do? Poor thing :-(
