Orphan kittens need to be fed about every 2-3 hours. a kitten formula can be bought at the pet store or vet's office. You can also use this formula ....1 can evaprated milk,1 can water,1 egg, 2 drops Karo syrup,4drops corn oil and 2-4 drops kitten vitamins. Mix well. Can be kept 3-4 days in 'fridge. Bottles and nipples can be purchased at a feed and grain store or vet. Make sure the formula is the right temp.[test on wrist] before feeding. Bottle fed kits cannot void on their own and need to be stimulated after eating...using a wet paper towel gently rub the kits anal/urinary area until voiding occurs. Kits need to be kept warm...fill a 2 liter bottle with hot water and put this into a sock [test to make sure it isn't too hot]. Be sure the kits have room to move away from the 'heat' if they get too warm. Also a small, washable stuffed animal can make them feel more comforted. Always talk to your vet first..his info is priceless!

Poor babies. That's so tragic. You must use the kitten replacement milk (KMR) or goat's milk from a pet store. Cow's milk can induce such diarrhea in a kitten that they can die from that.

The kittens may have panleukopenia which will be fatal for both. It's a very sad experience to lose them and you must not feel badly about it. Their mother may have been killed and not able to get back to them.

Poor little dollies didn't even have a fighting chance.

They can't drink milk from cows. You have to go to a local feed store and get kitten formula, prepare it as directed, and feed the baby every two hours ROUND THE CLOCK. Even overnight. This is a lot of work, and if you can't do it, you need to take it to the vet.

Take it to the vet immediately. Right now! Otherwise, it will die, too. Pet stores have kitten milk formula. Do not give them cow's milk. They will not be able to digest the heavy fats that do not exist in cat's milk.

Please, log off your computer and go to the vet right now!

Your local pet store or vet should have cat's milk that would work much better for baby kitties...also make sure to keep it warm and "clean" it alot...mother cats lick the kittens not just to clean them but to stimulate their hearts and lungs. (you can do this with a warm damp washcloth several times a day...dry baby kitty well) Good Luck!!!

If it won't drink from a bottle, your vet can show you how to "tube feed" it.

There could be something wrong with the kittens in general. Many animals will reject their young if there is something wrong with them. Best bet is to call a vet.

Take it to your local vet, its crucial that this kitten stay hydrated or you are going to loose him too.

Kitten that young cannot hold their own temperature, make sure he stays warm!
