I have a wonderful black kitty named Stinky (even though he is very well groomed and shiny). I think it derived from Slinky because of the way he walks. Be sure and lock your black kitties up at Halloween. I lose sleep when mine goes out. *sigh*
My other two kitties are Punky Bruiser and Hairy Squatter. Their names really fit their personalities.

Awwww kittens i just love them!!!
As for what you should name them its a tough one.
I'll tell you my cats names and i hope it helps.
Breezer, (after my favourite drink at the time, Barcardi breezer) Robin (coz he has a mask like Batman and robin) Cheeky (well that answers itself) Felix (coz i liked the name) Belle (coz its french for beautiful) and junior (belles kitten)
Why not name them after a drink you like eg jack and daniel or g & t. Or a famous duo. Just an idea.
Good luck honey and have fun.
Let us know what you call them. x x

I have found the best way to name a pet is to let them do it ! After spending some time with them the names will come to you.

lots of possibilities here... u must consider several factors in naming cats... there is their dignity... the fact that their everyday names should match their everyday personalities... the fact that each cat is unique... the fact that humans like to be reminded of the special circumstances of their kitty's birth... ummmm... so.... since they are both black, how about:
1) Nokti (Greek for night) and Tohu (Hebrew for night)
2) Skoti (Greek darkness) and Koshek (Hebrew for darkness)
3) Noctis (Latin for night) and Nox (Latin for sleep)
Nokti and Skoti sound cool, don't you think?
