According to a Purina website eggs are okay for cats in small doses. Be sure to cook the eggs thoroughly first. Raw eggs will make a cat sick. Try to limit how much egg you give kitty, because too much can cause massive weight gain.

Cats are not supposed to eat the whites of eggs and the yolks are rich in vitamin A. It isn't like they would be poisoned by the whites and there is something there not especially beneficial.
Some olive oil or salmon oil (from a health food store) is also good to give for the coat.

Yes, you can give your cats eggs.
But I'd cook them first. My cats like scrambled eggs, if I cool them a bit after cooking.
Eggs are high in protein. Good for a cat's coat.
You can feed your cats boiled chicken, mixed with cooked rice, too. My vet told me to do that when my one kitty was ill. The vet said "We need to get some 'high-quality protein' into him!"
The majority of your cats' diet should be cat food (canned or dry) so you are sure that they are getting the proper nutrients, but occasional snacks of (cooked) meat, fish, or eggs will not harm them.

I have heard that giving eggs to the cats makes their hair shinny and healthy but I do not know what it will do to their health. I think eating raw eggs is not healthy for anyone.

Do NOT Feed Cats the following:
Chocolate contains theobromine which is a cardiac stimulant and a diuretic; the darker the chocolate, the higher the toxic effect
Dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, cream and raw eggs) As soon as kittens are weaned from their mothers they become lactose intolerant to ALL dairymilk products Sure, they like to lap up milk but it acts as a purge to their systems. Continued feeding of dairy can actually poison most cats.

If your cat eats eggs.. or will eat eggs, give your cats that to eat. As far as making their hair better. I doubt it very much. I could find NOTHING to verify that.

Cats need lots of protein in their diets, so eggs are a very good choice.
