Ok..I need to give some background information before I can ask the question... My 19 year old cousin had a baby at the end of July. She has been having my mother watch her, my mom is a stay at home wife/mother. The only people in my moms house are her, my step father and my 18 year old brother, so no children. Well she also has 2 cats, one that stays in all the the and the other is always outside and she has 2 dogs. Well lately she has been noticing a pee smell in the living room, where she has the babys bed at. Well this morning she was cleaning up, hasn't had the baby in a few days, and noticed that the babys bed smelt of pee, really bad and that the couch too smelt badly of pee, the other place the baby is frequently at. Now the question, could my moms 3 year old cat, male-but fixed, or the 2 dogs, both fixed one 1 1/2 and the other 8, but dogs aren't allowed on furniture, could they be peeing in the babies bed because they are jealous? Why and which one could it be?

Does it matter? Do the whiskers do anything? Will it grow back? She didn't mean any harm; should she be severely punished?

I took in a stray 3 months ago (and her 4 mth. old approx., kitten) - found out she was prego., she delivered 8 days ago - in the middle of the night she came and got me and we delivered 6 healthy kittens - in my 2 year old's closet! 2 days ago a kitten passed away - it was the smallest of the litter, but was starting to thrive very well. She seems sad? She looked for it a bunch yesterday. My 10 year old and I gave it a proper burrial. She is not interested in nursing - I have to sit with her and make her do it. If I leave the room she will stop and walk away from them??? She was grooming them earlier and nursing some. Any suggestions? She stops nursing before they kittens are done - they are still hungery and cry often. I have put a heating pad in with them on low and comforting them as well as I can. Last night she took off for the whole night! I cold not find her anywhere. I am going to get her fixed .... and the 4 month old male, as soon as she is able to have the surgery ... HELP!

I have two very finicky cats who demand a clean, lump free litter box, so I have to have strong clumping litter. But, I want to avoid chemicals and other additives in the litter that can cause long term harm. Any suggestions on a safe brand that clumps well?

I just got my new kitten today, we settled on calling her Bella. When I have tried to put her in the toilet tray, all she does is eat the litter. I'm quite concerned about his. My other two cats never done this when they were little. What should I do? Would she eat it if I put fresh soil in their instead? Please help as I don't want her to get sick?

My male cat seems to be doing it all the time, I'm worried he doesn't like to play anymore. He just sits and lays around and licks and licks.
Has he gone mental or should I have him put down?

I have two cats. They are both only 5 months old. One uses the box fine and the other one won't. She goes right NEXT to the littlerbox though.

My boyfriend surprised me with a kitten for an early birthday gift. It's the most adorable thing ever but she keeps meowing and won't stop! I keep thinking that maybe she's sick but she seems healthy besides itching her ears once in awhile.

The other part of this is that I can't keep her. My landlord absolutely refuses to have cats on the property. I don't want to get rid of her or hurt my boyfriends feelings. Besides everything is signed over in his name he is the legal owner. So I'm not sure what to do with her. I also don't want to give her back to the pound because I want her to have a good home. How do I go about this? and how do I get her to stop meowing so much? lol

My cat started sneezing earlier this week, i have taken her to the vets and he gave her an injection and 6 days of synulox tablets. I took her to the vets this morning again because she was sneezing and there was blood in it and her eye is weeping, he has given her another injection and told me that it's the blood vessels in the nose bursting like it does in humans and to keep an eye on her. I am not sure whether the tablets are working straight away or whether they have to sit in her system for a certain amount of time, like ours. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Ok, the story is that my girlfriend needed to spend a couple weeks with her mom while we are in transition from a long distance move. Well, come to find out that her mom's dog has contracted fleas, and her mom is too lazy to deal with the problem by actually taking the dog to the vet and having her flea problem dealt with. Well, we know how to solve that problem... What concerns me, is that in a couple days, we are moving my girlfriend out, and into our new apartment, and we do NOT want to drag any fleas with us. What concerns me is that the dog had been sleeping on my girlfriend's bed, and my girlfriend has been itchy and has had evidence of bites on her. Some of our gear was also being stored there for this brief time too. What I am truely worried about is the fleas traveling with us in my girlfiend's soft goods (clothing, etc.). How do we deal with this?
